Are we having fantasy materials in this?
Or are we going to stick with only real materials?
.... Lets see we have magic so why would there not be fantasy materials?

Its up to great but adding in all that fantasy stuff does make things far more complicated.
Especially with smithing rules and all that kind of thing.

Not really it just adds more mats to make weapons from :| And if your referring to Telle's mats being magic those are all real life ores or the like (Except crystal, thats crystal)

I meant the quick silver and the like.
But that would be so extremely rare it would never have a real military application anyway.

It's fine the name quick silver threw me and made me think of skyrim.
I never noticed Mercury was called quick silver.

But realistically you could not use either of those materials to make weapons or armor in any case.

Well lets go with time but its a mixture of medicine too instead of relying on pure magic.

mesor's been asking about royal politics, so here's a summary of what I've decided on:

Overall, King Raskol III (the current king, in his 60s and with an heir) is a pretty hands-off monarch. As long as nothing threatens the kingdom and everyone pays their taxes, his only real rule is "Don't make me come in there." This attitude continues onto religion, which causes friction between the church* and the monarchy. I've compared him to Baron Wulfenbach.
The king does fund some knightly orders, with the default assumption being that they will send men where the king requests in times of need. He probably also supports large mercenary groups in part, for the same reason. Knightly orders and such should probably figure out what they're willing to spare on a moment's notice soon and I'll figure out what the royal family will give in return. King Raskol also encourages such organizations to pursue non-royal trade agreements.
 War between fiefs is tolerated if justified and if neither side is overly destructive of innocent lives and property. Failure to do so results in a violation of King Raskol's one rule.
There's lots of speculation about the king's motives and origin, from him being an agent of the northern tribes to being replaced by a demon. What is known is that he is a moderately powerful magician of some sort, with access to many magical items.

As long as I have an excuse and the land can still pay his taxes when its over I can attack people :).
