Hey armok if you gather up some herbs for me I'm happy to trade you diamonds for them.
Then you'll be the only one selling diamonds and other valuable little things like that.

Funny, I was going to give Ragoth access to some rare herbs...

Census of von Scliesen Lands:

25 000 total population Divided Among:

7 Counties, and a total of 20 baronies, held by either the family or locals who are more or less stuck supporting the family

300 trained knights

1000 men at arms (crossbowmen and pikemen mostly)

15000 farmers

2000 fishermen in the rivers

5000 assorted craftsmen

500 priests

1000 merchants

200 tax collectors, scribes and other civil servants

And sure, you can reduce it to East Torburg or whatever. I just picked that name as a joke.

Can I get a Cliff's Notes of what I missed?

Lots of rules and trade discussion. Speaking of which, who's keeping your people's houses?

You need 1/2 of the women at the very least to do house keeping.

If you want Iron, Steel, Coke ( Fuel for furnaces and smelting and all that kinda stuff. ), Gold, Silver, Diamonds, Wood then I'm your guy :).

Btw 5000 assorted craftsmen won't do you much good since you have nobody at all gathering any kind of materials for you.

It's hypothetically possible that he could get enough of an import-raw-materials-export-goods economy going to support himself, but I wouldn't bet on it.

As much so I don't lose tte list if I lose the paper it's on, here's a list of herbs I've selected to have notable and well-known magical properties. Most are based on that one website that...misko? posted a bit ago.

And since it was asked, there are four notable political entities outside The Frigid Kingdom:
-The barbarians to the north, which are an entity in the very loosest sense of the word.
-The Horned Empire, south of Ouldlend and southwest of Dalberg, both crossing seas to get there. They worship bulls and bull-headed gods or something like that, and include both bull cavalry and some minotaurs among their ranks. (Minotaurs originated in the Empire, as part of an attempt to make humans more "divine."
-Aelv, a nation of shortish, magical people which is just south of Haigwaa and got cut off the map. They don't really like either us or the Horned guys. However, if we don't bug them they don't bug us.
-The Westers, an enigmatic people far across the sea to the west. They occasionally send trade ships or raiders, and possess strange arms. The weapon kind. Their goals are unknown, but they seem to be nonhostile.

Wow that is a lot of herbs.
You don't need a specific herb for a specific enchant do you?

Well, you can kinda improvise; a fire spell usually needs fennel, but can also use thyme or something. It's a bit harder, but doable, especially if you add yarrow or take some sort of magic-enhancing potion beforehand. With enough skill and power, you could probably make a flaming sword with nothing but comfrey!

Ok picking a specific herb is going to be kinda essential if your ever gonna have enough to do a lot of one enchants.

I'm thinking that I'd lump all these useful herbs under one category.

That should work great I think if the person has a reasonable number of gatherers.
