This is the first day playing this and I bought a gun from a gang member. I then accidently hit F and shot him. Now I'm wanted for murder... 

Well anyway is there anyway for me to get this murder rap off?

Two come off the top of my head.

1. Go into the justice system and come out either via paying an elite liberal lawyer, your sleeper judges, your sleeper lawyers, and/or combinations thereof such that you get the result "Not Guilty!" or a non death row or non life in prison sentence at your trail. You're now completely clean .

2. Cheat.

Well I haven't gotten that far into the game yet so don't got judge or layers in my pocket lol. I also don't want to cheat. My character does have law of 3 which I'm guessing won't be enough to defend himself for murder. hmm. Guess I'll keep him in hiding till I can get a layer.

Edit: Hmm I think I might have found a bug. I just got a guy in my group and his music is 2 but says max is 1.

That can happen. A liberal's skills are capped by certain attributes. For instance intelligence determines his or her max computer skills.  But I believe when attributes fall your skills remain. Attributes get increased when juice rises above certain thresholds and reduced when it falls. If juice is negative you can get it positive just by doing community service but as juice rises you need to do more and more dramatic (and riskier) things to keep it rising.

Your _full integer_ skills remain, while the floating-point part goes away. So, if you had a skill of 7.68 and your attribute went down to 6, you'll have the skill level of 7.00.

I can't tell you how many times I've accidently punched someone in the park when trying to go on a pick up line dropping spree.  Usually its someone with a large gun and good aim...
