Part of my map is haunted, could he.. help my marksdwarves train? I was thinking I could make a room of doom, drown him and have his old mates continually fire at him from behind fortifications for a bit of practice.

depends I guess, is it haunted-reviving, or simply haunted-shitty stuff raining/misting in?

Else placing him in a room under the haunted part of the map, possibly if you can't bother making a drowning room just cage an hostile with him, then use it for training.

Well, I have something similar right now, handless dwarf with moter damage. I only noticed because he spammed me with cancellation. Anyway, I put him in the military, and went off to live a happy carrer of kicking zombies in the face.

The problem with training this dwarf up as a fighter is that he's 'armless.

With such a dwarfy appearance, he deserves to be made a better noble than mayor: at a minimum make him baron.
