Head for the enemy ship swing across its bow to force it to stop then go around it and fire the cannon into the rear of the enemy ship

The enemy ship still shows no signs of stopping, but as it closes in starts a painfully slow turn to its starboard.  Your ship goes to the port side, trying to get aft of the Fluyt.  As you are passing by, it fires both cannons (rolls 14/12 vs dc 4 dealing 16 damage).  Both shots hit into your hull.  Your men return fire (roll 19 vs dc 4 dealing 19 damage) and hit squarely on the weather deck. (the ship is now 2 squares away.  3 turns to reload port, 3? for Fluyt port)

Continue west!

You continue west, and your lookouts soon see a couple of bodies floating on the water.  As you go to investigate, you can see they are obviously dead.  More bodies are apparent as you continue.  One of your new recruits mentions a cave that could support a ship to the SE, not to far from Tirailo.

Circle in behind the ship, stay behind it and reload the cannon this time with grape shot.
Order crew not performing essential tasks to take rifles and shoot down as many of the enemy crew as possible, captain and those manning the cannons take priority.

Let's have a look at the cave.

You take your ship to the SE, scanning the shoreline for any indication of the cave mentioned.  The coast turns rocky, and you are forced to spend a lot of time watching the water for rocks to avoid.  If the cave is anywhere, this definitely would be the area.  You notice that a few men appear to be watching you from the top of the cliffs, given the reflection of the sun from a couple of places.  You know you are close.

You circle around to the aft of the Fluyt, staying close to allow your men with rifles the opportunity to fire on the enemy.  They see a couple of chances, but the shots fall low.  The enemy returns fire, but it appears there was a problem with the powder they used.
(2 turns for reload, starboard cannon ready.  2? turns for Fluyt reload, starboard cannons ready)

Continue firing and stay behind the enemy vessel, Shout at the enemy vessel that if they surrender now they will be spared.

You continue to exchange rifle fire, with neither side having any luck.  As you shout, the captain says he will not surrender while he still has breath.  The Fluyt tries to get you to its port side, but with your greater maneuverability you manage to stay aft.
Let's have a look at the cave.

You spot an area that recedes into the cliff a bit, so you position yourself into the entrance, allowing your port cannon to point inland.  You see a ship (Clipper) docked crudely against a makeshift port with men unloading a lot of supplies.  You know the ship you were investigating was an Indian Merchantman, but there are no signs of one here.  On the cliff is a tower overlooking the inlet, but it is not firing.  Through your telescope you do see that they know you are there, but are not making preparations to fire.

Drop anchor and send a rowboat out to shore to ask about the port. I'd like to find out what it's called, who bit belongs to and if they're friendly before going ashore.

You continue to stay aft, with both sides continuing to fire.  Neither seems to be successful.  You grab the rifle and focus on finding the captain, but he never reveals himself.

(cannons ready)

You send a boat inland.  As they enter, you see a group of armed men at the pier waiting.  They do not give any signs of hostility.  After a while, they return unharmed with a single man from the pier.  As he comes aboard, he tells you there is no name to the port, it is for emergency repairs from pirate attacks or random storms.  He would appreciate it if you would bring your ship in a bit farther to prevent it from blocking the entrance, but they really have nothing for you.

Move to one side of the ship, stay far enough back that they can not turn the cannon to hit me. Shred enemy crew with tiny little bullets with extreme prejudice!!!!. Then return to previous position. Crew continue firing. Captain kill anybody who appears to be giving orders.

Seems legit.

I'll order the men to bring us around into port. While they're doing that, I'll explain that we're a group of Buccaneers hunting pirates that were reported in the area. Give a brief description, ask if they've seen them. Also, find out about those bodies in the water nearby.

You pull into port, barely fitting as the pier is not really meant for 2 vessels.  The man tells you that 3 days prior they heard the sound of cannon fire off the horizon.  Having not seen any wood floating, they deduct that the damage dealt was superficial.  And it didn't last long, so either the ships moved out of auditory range or the battle was over quickly.  Based off the number of bodies, they think the latter.  All pirate attacks seem to originate about one day south of here.

Your men load up Grapeshot and fire into the enemy (roll 16 vs dc 10 dealing 5 damage to the crew), keeping the ship's position.  Bodies seem to drop from the vessel.  Your men, still keeping their rifles ready, see a couple opportunities to fire, and hit another 9 enemy sailors.  None of them seem to be of any importance, however.
