My game crashes every time I try to enter a town called Raycottons. I can travel to the outskirts, but after a few steps Windows notifys me that Dwarf Fortress stopped working. Same happens if I attempt to fast travel to ANY part of the town. I have a big quest there I'd suppose, so should I keep on trying or travel to another human civ? Also, if I don't complete that quest, will I be branded a coward? 'Cos the lord said so.

Kill the lord and show dominace on who is the coward then skin him wear the skin and his head put his family into the stone mines to get the stone for your giant statue of you beheading him

But it might be broken sace not sure

can walk into the town, as in not fast travel but just walk from the outskirts?
what happens to your framerate?
maybe there is just so much going on in that town it kills df

Wait is it a city or small cottage? if its city 9/10 times its your frame rate

I've had NO framerate issues with any of the other cities, which are actually bigger. It simply crashes when I walk past the very first houses in the town, or try to fast travel anywhere in the inner town. The outer parts with some import shops and abandoned houses can be travelled to.

Sounds like a problem with the underground dungeons and crap.
