Sorry, I had a longer weekend and thought it was Saturday. I'm pretty slow at writing updates though.
The Human Man-at-arms and the Lion stood together in the arena, as Mog and Cadmus entered the Arena. Mog and Cadmus quickly shot their ranged attacks, wounding both the Lion and Man-at-arms. The human and feline reach Cadmus first, forcing him to stab with his arrows. Mog helps out with his(Her? Its?) fireball, and the Man-at-arms falls to their attacks. The Lion is harder to take down though, and Cadmus quickly succumbs. Mog keeps casting his Fireball, but the Lion quickly reaches him (Her? It?) and tries to finish it off. Mog, however manages to fend the Lion off long enough to finish it, albeit barely.
Mog needs to rest or start the next fight with half health, Cadmus must be revived for 150 gold, within three fights.
You gain 290 gold.
Thranduil, Celeborn, the two Dire Wolves and the wolf stand ready to fight the Human Beastmaster, and reap the rewards. The wolves and Celeborn charge in, but the Beastmaster was prepared. He bashes his mace into the ordinary wolf, breaking its ribs, severely wounding it. Celeborn quickly jumps on the Beastmaster, only to be blocked by his shield. The Beastmaster quickly summons his two Dire Wolves, and the Dire Wolves start to fight. Thranduil shoots multiple arrows, but the general confusion of the battlefield makes it fairly hard to aim, and he hits one of his own Dire wolves, which gets finished off pretty quickly by the opposing dire wolf. The Wolf keeps the Dire wolf off Celeborn, who is trading blows with the Beastmaster. The other Dire Wolf, however falls to the Gladiators' Dire Wolf, and the fight has been evened out a bit more. The Beastmaster keeps his own fairly well, but receives an arrow in the leg, lowers his defences, and Celeborn slashes his claws at the head of the Beastmaster. The other Dire wolf is no problem, and is finished off quickly without too much wounds.
Animals have been healed, and you regain a Dire wolf.
(Beastmaster was just a rename, and he gained nothing special)
240 gold is what you've earned.
Ishar and Sir, accompanied by their Dire wolf enter the arena under loud cheers, as they are a fairly famous face among the crowd. Sir makes a snarky remark, and the two Warleaders walk in. They are the size of an Orc, both dual-wielding two-handed weapons. The one with the swords makes an inappropriate gesture towards the Gladiators, and the fight begins. Ishar and Sir work together to take on the warleader with two axes, while their Dire wolf keeps the one with the swords busy. The axeleader strikes hard and fast, but Ishar and Sir manage to dodge or block quite well with their new swords. The Dire Wolf, however, gets struck down by a sacrificial attack by the swordleader, leaving him with a bite in his shin. This enrages him, and he charges towards Sir. Sir gets taken by surprise, but manages to dodge the first blows and returns some. As the swordleader strikes a few more times, Sir sidesteps and stabs his sword in the swordleader's right arm. The swordleader drops his right sword, and fights one with his left one. With one sword, however, the swordleader is no match for Sir, and gets killed quickly.
Ishar, fighting against the axelord, has a slightly harder time, as this one didn't have the disadvantage of a wounded leg, and takes a few wounds before finally wounding the axeleader. By this time, however, Sir's fight is finished, and Sir comes to Ishar's aid. The axelord, while talented at fighting with axes, is no match for the two veterans, and gets taken down spectacularly, as Sir beheads it while Ishar kicks it away, leaving the head flying in the air.
Nice fight. 400 gold for you, +50 for the critical ending. Have fun using it!
Nikolai and Sanya enter the arena quickly after Ishar and Sir. As the corpses get dragged out, a Shaman and two armed Kobolds walk in. Nikolai rushes towards them, but gets stopped by a magical barrier. As Sanya works on getting it down, the Shaman casts a weak Water spell at Nikolai, making Nikolai a bit weaker, as he tries to break through the barrier. Quickly after, Sanya gets the barrier down, and starts "firing" her spells at the Kobold Shaman, who blocks them with relative ease. Nikolai slashes through the weaker kobolds as if they were butter, and reaches the Shaman. The Shaman is distracted by Nikolai, and Sanya manages to cast her spell on him. The Kobold Shaman quickly falls, and gets finished off by Nikolai.
You gained 160 gold!
NOT AN EDIT: Did I just get TRIPLE NINJA'D?!
