Yes. They are our valiant foodstuffs, and anyway dwarves thrive on them.

You yourself, LW, came up with the purple apocalypse theory in the Axeford dictionary; you better than anyone should know the answer!

But should we automatically distrust them just because they are capable of murderizing a fort? Then what of magma? The answer is not always black and purple.

Everything is capable, but the plump helmets do it on porpise! But nontheless, you're right - it's time to commence plumphelmitical warfare with the elves.

If mountains shift slowly as time goes by, it would be cool if you could mod the trees to go near the dwarves in a slow but noticeable pace in one year.

Also they can kill the dwarves but only if they are somehow immobilized and yet fed.

lol if toady one ever saw this thread and somehow agreed with my theory then we would probably see the trees slowly encroach on mountainhomes in Worldgen.....that would probably make me quite scared to be honest...

This sort of effect could be achieved with an incredibly slow moving Tree-sprite, that excretes a syndrome which turns those it contacts into more of its kind...

Forests will never encroach onto the Dwarven Mountainhomes for two simple reasons:
1. Axes. One dwarf can fell thousands of trees, and there are hundreds of dwarves.
2. Mountains hold magma.

Trees can't win this war.

Mount Hyjal.... That tree set its roots into the body of a fallen mountain. They can win this war.....

Even worse would be the treants. They'd be capable of throwing rocks at every Urist, Dastot and Aban and crushing them flat.

But we will not SUBMIT. WE SHALL BURN THEM WITH MAGMA! MAIM THEM WITH STEEL! DESTROY THEM WITH BEASTS!

WE ARE THE BAY12ERS. WE SHALL NOT SUBMIT TO THE ELVEN PARASITES.
