Also you don't need to encase anything in O2. Modern bullets have oxidizer inside and may fire in vacuum without any problems.
Problem exists with guns, not bullets.  Standard firearm will jam in space after first shot(s), due to lubricant evaporation and lack of air too cool the weapon down.  It's funny, but I think future spaceguns will use water cooling as old machine-guns did. BTW, what methods can be used to reduce friction without using a lubricant?

Well yeah, we use gunpowder now.  I think.  I actually don't like guns very much.

I think that anything that reduces friction can be called a lubricant, but I think I see what you mean.  I think.  Again, I don't like guns very much.  Which is why I picked a character who won't be shooting very much (I hope.  He is gonna have to shoot at the Salvions, but I imagine during most combat situations he'd be too busy keeping wounded alive).  I find it's better to stick with what you know, and leave the rest to the professionals.

There are no evacuation options. The Lockdown protocol is irrevocabe. A Quarantine protocol is in effect.

I doubt that we can quarantine something that advanced in small computer... I think even our modest computing system will be somewhat uncomfortable for the AI

And we are talking about AI that probably killed off the crew and passengers for it's own amusement, and while AI will make Salvation much stronger, it may just rape the crew

It's an older AI and an advanced computer.
And it's not like I'd just unleash it into the main computer!

Think about it like capturing enemies for bounty.  I bet there are some organizations out there who would pay to study this AI, and find out what happened to it.

Also, I highly doubt the AI chopped up the crew into little pieces.  It looks more like the AI sustained trauma during the event.  Maybe physical, maybe it just witnessed some unspeakable horror done to its crew.  We dunno, but I'm kinda curious.

Nope. Just an assumption. That's as good as anything. If someone controls where water flows can they not drown you?
