Yes, hiding is the best option. We have spacesuits to wait out shutdown of our life support

But we still should transfer some fuel to engines, just in case for emergency retreat

What about putting some fuel in the ship and moving elsewhere?   Moving out of the scrapyard would hopefully prevent this kind of thing from happening, but of course if we move someone is probably going to see that.  But we shouldn't attack the drone.  If we blow it up, someone is going to come looking for it, and that's something I think we'd all rather avoid.

At some point, organize a team to go to the cargo ship for salvage or loot.

I'll go. The Mechanic may be a good idea to take too. Unless, you want me to keep whipping up ragtag patches.

Maybe we can find some pressurized fuel containers or actual commercially made patches onboard. either way if we make the shuttle ride sooner rather than later we won't have to wait out the drone.

I'll head to engineering whoever comes with me should head to the bridge, we'll meet up in the cargo bay. Then we can have a quick look in crew quarters and storage/repair lockers and we'll see where we are at by that point.

I agree with faking as a wreck
Max would like to help the salvage team

We should stay in scrapyard as long as possible, there are plenty of ways to upgrade here, we just need some lucky finds

And no, no, no to sending shuttle before drone leaves the area

Is the drone already here? or is it coming this way?

1) coming this way.
2) yes, send shuttle to salvage after 'bot leaves

Quote from: Updated power sheet
All auxilaries: 1 reactor when fully repaired (Current: 0.5)
Main engines: Up to 2 reactors (Current: 0)
Jump drive: At least 1 while charging, up to 3 reactors if fully repaired. (Note, activating a jumpdrive while changing delta v is dangerous, so the engines are presumed to be off while jumping) (Currently :0)
Lifesupport, sensors and varia: Up to 1 (Currently 1)
    Weaponry:
-4 lasers for 2 reactors under normal circumstances. Continues fire will result in overheating and will use 1 reactor per laser
-4 mass drivers for 1 reactor
    Free capacity: 1.5
You should rename it FTL: The Forum Game.

Which components are there going to be, apart from scrap? Which ones of them will be used to fix which components? Specifically, what do we need for the engines? Can we power the engines right now, even though they're damaged? Will we be able to give them more power after we fix them?

Legion waits for the drone to leave and then hops on the shuttle.

Baxter hides in a well-shielded place on the ship until the drone leaves, then join the shuttle crew to look at the other ships, searching for an intact long-term memory core.

You power down the ship, and wait for the automatic drone to pass. It cruises by without stopping, and you get a clear view of it. It's quite small, only a 10 meter long, and seems to be cobbled together mostly from scrap. The lack of heat radiators or missile tubes suggests it to be armed with mass drivers, though you can not be sure. After a minute the craft has disappeared out of sight, but you wait another 30 minutes before reactivating the ship's systems. Unfortunately, it appears the ship didn't move away as you expected it do, but instead stayed in the area. It detects your systems before you can disengage them, and moves in to investigate.

You have approximately 2 minutes before it reaches the ship.
