Lucas was still midly confused, but the two previous impacts that rocked the ship started up his adrenaline and he grinned at Shia.

As long as our signal is perfectly synced up with theirs, a receiver would only see one signal.

Couldn't manage it apparently though. Better technology I suppose.

Interference could occur. Also, they would see the signal originating from your ship, and realise what you were doing. Assuming they're not completely incompetent

Max reactivates the engines, and carefully maneuvers the ship towards Pirate. Slowly, the pirate ship comes closer and closer, untill with a slight thump the 2 hulls bump together. Luckily, there appears to be no damage. The boarding crew, led by Shia, exits the airlock. Domas's team is a bit behind, having narrowly avoided being knocked of by the sudden stop.

Carefully, Shia and the others enter the ship through the broken Nanofiberglass windows. Despite the force with which they'd been breached, they were still mostly intact, complicating the manoevers. With the aid of a crowbar and plentifull amount of force, a clear entry is soon gained, and the team can explore the abandonned bridge. The environement is Spartan, filled with almost no personnal belongings, and the only sign that this room'd been pressurized before is the frozen cup of coffee standing on a small foldable table, and the athmospherical alarm blaring silently in a corner. Despite the damage to the bridge, most of it's computers appear to be functioning quite well. It takes you a moment to identify them, but within a few seconds you've identified weapons, engines and primary lifesupport control.

With the bridge secured, it's time to see to the rest of the ship. There are 2 airlocks leading away from the bridge, one on portside, the other on starboard. Closer inspection also reveals a hatch leading down into the ship. All of these appear to be locked, but not bolted nor welded shut.

Right. i vote that we leave three men here to guard and a half squad takes each route. the people who stay here need to shut down things (link up with the AI?) and we will probably need a player with each group.

I agree with leaving a few people behind to guard the bridge if we go further into the ship BUT we shouldn't turn off life support. Disable weapons and engines but keep life support running. We then use the starships intercom to inform the pirates that surrender is preferable to suffocation. If they don't comply we'll turn life support off for a while, say thirty minutes.

Hey ebbor - are there working computers in the bridge that have a viewscreen? Do the starships have security cameras, and if so how hard would it be to display the camera feed onto the computers viewing screen?
This way we can survey not only where they might be but also coordinate whether or not they have surrendered their weaponry (plus some troopers can stay on the bridge and direct us via radio as well).

The only pirate ship in vicinity is currently alongside you. Not really, but within meters anyway.

You're doing a boarding mission remember. Suits don't come with jetpacks included. (Well, technically they do, but experts unanmously agree that using your own air as propellant should be avoided).

This is pretty much a docking attempt. Also, the advantage is that it makes it impossible for the enemy to shoot you.
