What does honeybee venom do?
It doesn't seem to be on the wiki

According to this:

[CE_PAIN:SEV:50:PROB:100:RESISTABLE:LOCALIZED:VASCULAR_ONLY:START:50:PEAK:500:END:1500]
[CE_SWELLING:SEV:75:PROB:100:RESISTABLE:LOCALIZED:VASCULAR_ONLY:START:50:PEAK:500:END:1500]

It causes mild swelling and mild pain of vascular tissues.
There was a report that dwarves who accumulate enough beestings might have their nerves damaged eventually, but that was uncomfirmed.

I guess you _could_ use it if you somehow get your edged weapons covered in it and then hit someone with them.
Might be it can be cooked with some micromanagement, too.

Animal and Fish dissection, doesn't appear to be working.  Extracts, with the exception of milk to make cheese, don't really do much.  I think the skill advances, however, when they hunt vermin for food.  These penalties on certain extracts, maybe related to eating vermin, instead of food, as a bad thing.  *shrug*  Just my hunch.

Or the alchemy trade, which doesn't appear to be working in this version, as of yet.  Waxcrafts, Bee Hiving, and Mead are one of the last things I make, in a stable fortress.  I could be doing something wrong however.  *shrug*  I use hives as bait/decoys for unwanted guests, with building destroyer tendencies.

Also I like to sting elves, so I build them around my Depot.  HEHE!  Knutor

I've never used fish dissector, but I've been curious on ways to make animal dissection (specifically the generated venom) do something. Hrm. I have a sudden idea.

Fucking hell man, you aren't just getting the short end of the stick, you're being beaten with it.

Is your plan really to flush water into hell, and have the CARP marines fight them without threat of flame or disease?  If so, you are awesome, and one of the greatest DF military visionaries I've seen yet ( not that I've seen that many, or any, for that matter )

I think, but not certain, its for Alchemy, and takes place with a mortar and pestle.  Or a skinning knife.  Or a laboratory. I see strange tools in the trade window.  I'm right there with ya, tho.

Venom covered bolt hits Snatcher.
Snatcher spasms.
Kid falls down.
Dwarf searches for kid.
Dwarf and kid reunited.
Party at kitten rope.

I am sure, more than one player would enjoy lighting up the ravens sky with flaming bolts.  I just don't know that it is in the game yet, to do SCIENCE on.  Please share SCIENCE if you learn how to do this.
