To answer, Green, the Brony Community would probably be offended. If Twilight fans were here, and I did a 'kill all dem twiight characters' they would lose it. Hell, most people of any fandom would.

Scrap the original plan after talking with kestrel and finding out the limits of my authority ive got a better idea.
Green you take the squad.
Im gonna dig in on a hill over looking the outpost and then start picking off enemy snipers and try to disable some enemy artillery with a silenced barrett 50 cal and some special ammo.
Im also going to be co-ordinating the rest of our assault force's ive got a couple of jobs in mind for some of the Ssaros and irregular squads to get us into that outpost and take it as quickly as possible.

Each of you will be taking an mk 14 assault rifle and a supressed .45 handgun plus you can choose a personal weapon.
Which can more or less be anything you want that is not classed as a WMD.
Hence my barrett.

You should all start thinking what weapon you want to take in with you.

If you have any questions then feel free to ask i can probably answer most of them now after a long discussion with kestrel.

Short version.
That the enemy leaders.

Our enemies are a bit more humanoid walk on two leg have something resembling hands.
They have air support they have artillery they have mechs and guns and grenades.
They can build bunkers and fortresses and the like.
And they will rip you limb from limb and burn the pieces to ash if you give them half a chance.
They are new to the weapon but as the war progresses they will become better with there new weapons.

Ok so this is our assignment.

++OPERATION: HAMMER++

Phase 1: Land Grenadier units and BattleMech supported sections at LANDING ZONE ANVIL

Phase 2: Commence Assault on Apple Artillery and Candy Cane/Lollipop ground defenses

Phase 3: Sweeping patrols and Search And Destroy Operations to clear for ANVIL base.

Phase 4: Consolidation and wait for 2nd wave forces.


This is our force's and a rough outline of the enemies forces.

There is our squad , the 2nd Karigdar Grenadiers, the other Battlemech supported units in the 511th Irregulars, and 22nd Cluster Jade Falcons led by Star-Colonel Malthus all in totaling around 2200 men.
The 2nd Karigdar are Ssaros our gm made them himself. They are 8 ft tall reptilian soldiers who have got power armor and are extremely good fighters. The jade falcons are AA mechs.
Our squad will also all have access to suppressed weapons.

The enemy will be in an isolated outpost. They will be in regimental strength with machine gun nests. Aswell as having air support. The enemy will also have a limited number of heavy to assault class prototype battle mechs and the facility has a shielding system which is currently not operational. There air support is in the form of high speed bombers they have around 2000 men total.

You should probably post this on the game thread. You're lucky I even saw this thread let alone the post.

Actually, I'm not offended at all (if I can for the moment be considered reasonably representative of MLP fans as a whole). Of course it probably helps that I'm from the section of the fandom that likes the 40K crossovers. Self-depreciating humor is one of the best kinds. But yeah, I was considering signing up, but was concerned over the fact that there wasn't an explicitly stated ruleset while the setup was one that would probably necessitate more rules than just "1d6 to do whatevs". The whole thing about how RTDs tend to function best as either very freeform RP or with hard-and-fast mechanics.
