I'd have considered the best kobold that was available, but well...  given the light gash to the arm...  I'm a bit paranoid hopping to the master kobold would mean the elf'd be a pile o' ribs.

As Nikolai delivered the finishing blow, he held the dead Dire Wolf above his head triumphantly. Small cheers were heard, for a new gladiator defeating a powerful wolf was uncommon, but it was not what Nikolai had craved. Still, it was a start. Taking his blade, he removed most of the Dire Wolf's fur and took it with him out of the arena.

I challenge THOMAS to a battle in the arena! I assume that gladiator match rules count here- the match can be won if the enemy forfeits, the enemy cannot fight or is declared the loser, or dies. I'm sort of not aiming to kill anyone but I want to make this interesting.

23 gold left, tell me to subtract whatever to have the wolf pelt made into a wearable item. If that isn't possible, he'll still wear it it just won't do anything.
