"Didn't you just say he robbed a bank? Also, he sort of killed his own guy, so he also is a murderer. And seeing as Shadow and him are such good chums, I'd say he's done worse before."

"Sigmund, just let him give in. We've pounded him enough, we don't want to kill him!"

"Well, that's enough reason not to trust him."
Flick a finger at his head to knock him out.

"Good point, but again, we're meant to be superheroes. We're not murderers."

"Check him. He might have some tricks up his sleeves and I'm not going to be the one who springs any booby traps."

Misdirections last trick was to blot out the villains senses-no sight, no sound, no hearing-isolation. Hopefully he could get the message and fall into unconsciousness easier. It was very draining to keep it up for any length of time, so hopefully a blow to the head would accelerate the process.

And naturally, he would never know she had been there.

Lower The Light to the ground and pick him up by his legs, then shake him up and down to empty his pockets.

"Hm. Nothing TOO obvious, though with this guy's history, you never know."

The Light blacks out and stops moving after feebly promising not to do anything and to tell you something.

His jumpsuit does not seem to have pockets. Scorched asbestos falls out the neck-hole.

"A bit heavy handed really. I was expecting a bit more of a challenge. Either way may I make a request before the police get here?" The Shadow felt a wave of nostalgia looking at the prone form of his old rival.

"You're the leader, so eh."

"Feel free...unless you wanna kill him. Can't do that."

"I inquire Freyja to follow us to my house. I further suggest that we take The Light with us. I'm intrigued by his plan. I wish to know more." The Shadow knew this was a gamble. The others weren't likely to appreciate his plan.
