We left already; I paid for everyone after summoning Succubus.

"They now all only exist in books, novels, films, songs, my mind/soul, and you."
"..."
Sigurd sat down on the sidewalk, gazing across the street blank-eyed and downcast.
"Only me?"

[GreatWyrmGold] gets a little crown. May it forever be his mark of Cain; let no one argue pointless subjects with him lest they receive the same.

Richard suddenly felt bad. He'd not meant to make Sigurd feel left-behind.

"There is one thing you could do. Tell others about the lost times. Let them know that Sigurd himself came from the old stories, to tell them of the untold stories of bravery and valor. And if it's any consolation, I carry parts of them within me."

Richard wasn't sure what to do, so he stuck with that.

"Your words are true, mortal one. The last of the old ones avatars stands here."
He gives a hint of a smile to Richard.
"However, you are wrong on one count. I still feel them. Faintly. Thor calls to me. May Odins wisdom serve me on my search for them.."

"I suppose you could start with Surt. I know where they keep his sword. It's in a college exhibit, one which happens to be where my friend studies."

"Look, we can't just take it. We can look at it later, but we still have a lot to discuss. We don't even have a solid plan on how we're going to start fighting crime. Let's just find the Shadow and get this over with. After that we can look into helping Sigurd."

"Ah! Surt! A great warrior! I dueled him once, and barely escaped with my life! The secret lay in his handmaidens. If you'd care to hear the story, I could tell you of it while we rode to the place where they keep it in what you called a... A... C'ahr."

"Wait, will they not assign the blade to a worthy warrior? One who deserves the artifact?"

"Damn it, Lonnie. Can't-wait, good point. I guess we'll have to buy it off them, if we're willing to get Sigurd more firepower for criminal pounding."

"Can we raid them? Or will we have to use the sneaky ones considerable funds?"

"Well... Most museums aren't after money. If we want to get it legitimately we'd have to have them agree to give up the blade. If we were more well known they might just give us the blade."

"Without knowing who you are in the first place? They might just try and have us arrested. There are plenty of loons popping up around the city, so it wouldn't surprise me."
