Richard sighed and pocketed the Evoker. He had summoned Oberon to read the letter. It was simply more junk mail from some idiots trying to sell them crappy magazines on sale.
"Right. We need to track that professor down. And beat him up a bit. Maybe beat the insanity out of his head. And what do we do with that asshole the Light?"

[The Fool]

"I can interrogate him again, but I think he'd withhold information if I tried the same thing again. Any ideas?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Hm. We could let Sigurd interrogate him. Or I could use Succubus."

[GreatWyrmGold]

Oberon clears his throat. "Do you want to hear about the letter? I thought so. It's from a guy named Sin from Macropolis. He says there's some supervillain he wants dead, and that he'd heard of the League. RSVP within a couple days, rendezvous in five. Sound like fun? Hah."

"Oh, two letters in the box? Well, thanks. Now, Oberon, I dismiss thee."
"I will do no such-"
Oberon vanished, the two letters dropping to the floor.

Richard turned to everyone else.
"Well, what do we do? We can't leave the Light, and we can't split up."

[The Fool]

"So suddenly we're a team of super assassins? I'm all for stopping crime, but wouldn't killing just make us just as bad as the villains we're against? I'm going to look into what we have on this 'Sin' guy."

"Sounds like a trap. We probably shouldn't take the bait."

(Actually, technically I DID read the letter; Oberon is an extension of my psyche and therefore me, so therefore I did read it.

To avoid sounding like a smartass/jackass I'll read it anyway.)

Richard picked up the letter and re-read it, just to make sure.

I didn't know that, I thought you summoned Oberon. I'll keep that in mind.

The letter explains it better: You wouldn't be assassins, you'd be soldiers. This Sin says he's preparing an army of superheroes. Nothing in the letter quite decreases your suspicion that this is a trap, though. What's your plan?
