Sidenote: Great debate, guys, I really like your character development. I think I'll remind Mindmaster about this, wake him up, you know? Must be channeling the spirit of Sleeping Beauty.

Ragnarok turns to his other teammate, after adjusting his undersized clothing.
"They will. I feel it. The fate still flows just as strong here as it did back in my home."

(Gah,I was asleep. )

Richard looked up at the other three he'd met with. He'd gotten to the city a day before, and so far had not had to fight yet. One guy was all....furry. Another guy looked like a stereotypical spy. And the other guy looked normal. At least, on the outside.

Richard knew that this had nothing to do with his apparent scholarship. This was probably the real reason he was here.

"Mind telling me why we're here? You lot seem like you know more about whatever we've been pressganged into doing."

Lonnie gave the man an odd look, but he understood. "Well, the city has always had a bit of a problem with organized crime, but lately things have been changing. Groups that used to be a threat aren't, and new faces are appearing. I thought it seemed odd, but I had not a lot of information to go on. I received a call a couple days ago to meet up with a couple others, which would be you guys. I think that someone saw these changes in the city as a problem and started making calls to put a stop to it. I've been fighting against crime for a couple years now, and I think that's why they called me." He was kind of interested in the new face in the group. "So, what did you think you were here for?"

Hmm...is there still room for characters?

Richard smirked, then took out the gun-shaped object.

"I thought I was here for a scholarship. From what you say, what they actually want is my ability to shoot myself in the head to summon spirits, demons, or whatever."

Richard waited for the man's reaction.

Come up with a hero and I'll work you in somehow.

The Shadow's eyes widened as he glanced between the gun and the man in front of him "That is quite an... interesting power. As for the information gathering I too have access to the database and you are correct it is not all that suited to our purposes." Glancing at Ragnarok he finally noticed some small item 'A mythical artifact perhaps?' suddenly the urge to collect it sprung up, with Maxamillian's hobby the urge to collect mystical things popped up from time to time however he surpressed it.

Richard smirked again.

"Heh. At last, someone who isn't freaked out about the fact I shoot myself in the head to bring out mythological figures."

He took a sip from the coffee he'd ordered earlier, then pocketed the gun.

"So, we're a rabble of superheroes...Richard glanced at Maximillian."At least, I think most of us are. Why us though? Why me in particular? I hear there's a couple of guys who have my ability as well. Do a damn better job with it than I can anyway."

Ragnarok turned to The Shadow

"The dart used to slay Baldr, by the trickster god Loki. Perhaps I shall regale you with the tale of how I acquired it later."

Afterwards, he took an interest in Richards speech.
"What type of Mythological creatures?"

"Gah. I'll just give you a small sample, since...I have too much."

Richard sighed and took a deep breath.

"I can summon a succubus, what appears to be the angel Gabriel, some fairy guy who calls himself Oberon, Vishnu, and what appears to be Nidhogg of Norse myth. Apparently it's not limited to any one myth, but it still freaks me out to have so much....spirits? Demons? Gods? Anyway, it freaks me out to have so much of THEM in my head. Annoying when they can influence your personality too.

Those are just the ones I LIKE."

This caught The Shadow's interest "No truly?" He quickly reigned in his excitement before continuing "Perhaps we could get some proof of this power later? Just so we know what we can all do?"

Richard sighed.

He thought "I'll probably have to sleep in tonight..."

"Very well. Later. I'll show you proof. Be warned, some things get a LITTLE weird. Especially with Succubus. Though Oberon hitting on every woman he can see is a close second."

"Show me the power of your so-called myths, and I will show you the power of the true gods. Just a fragment, of course."
