Kathryn whispered again.

~"False? Hiding? One seeks to bait me into revealing myself, I think. But I never claimed to be Freyja...you made me her in your own mind. Now, If you really want the truth...~"

She appeared behind Richard, putting a hand on his shoulder-more or less out of thin air.

"Look behind you." She said out loud.

The figure is recognizably feminine, but indistinct at first. After a moment, a Caucasian woman in an open-throated dark colored trenchcoat and a fedora hat appeared-the faintest strings of blonde hair could be seen, and clear blue eyes.

Her features seem...blurry. As if they might shift at any moment, or if you chanced to look away even once. Her clothes, at least, seem real and physical-a strange fabric, almost like rich leather-but with faint geometric impressions upon it, indicating some sort of advanced polymer, to those smart enough to know what they are seeing. The woman is also wearing some sort of circular wrist device on her left hand...

Richard instinctively reached for his Evoker.

'Oh hell' was becoming his new catchphrase.

Grabbing Richard's hand The Shadow advised once more "She is an ally. Let's not over-react shall we?"

"Walk while we talk. The illusions are tiring me."

Jump up in the air, then 'grab' the pavement ~10 meters in front of me, then drag forward so I drag myself forward ~10 meters forward. Do this to go to the entrance of the hideout.

"Which face would you prefer?" she asked coyly, her eyes sparkling with good humor.

Despite her reputation, Kathryn actually enjoyed walking among people and being seen-even if not her exact visage was being shown. It was hard being a shadow all the time.

"It would be pretty cool if the Norse gods were here. I hear they were pretty cool, but there ARE some worshipers, and that number will probably increase once we start getting popular."

"Gods? Chosen heroes? It's odd you say that." She commented idly, not expounding further.

The Orders own historical records could prove her great to the nth degree ancestor had met with the being called Seth-possibly a real God, or just a entity possessing technology sufficiently advanced enough to indistinguishable from one. She might, ironically, be what something close to what he was looking for.

She wasn't really concerned with her powers origins, though. Just their use. But all the talk of Gods was certainly interesting...

Sigmund deliberates for a moment before turning back to Kathryn.
"The gods are no more. Once, I served them. I can no longer find them, but I feel them. This dart, is a symbol of Loki, the Trickster. I draw the illusions from him."

"Then spread belief in them. They'll probably be grateful for you gathering followers for them, and then you'll get into Valhalla. Speaking of which, what are the gods like? Any of them that would interest me? The Loki guy seems alright."
