You have 34 working people in your tribe.
Average morale : 1
You had 136 units of food, but 15% rotted away, leaving you with 115,6 units food
Have 3 townies chop down some more trees. Send a group of 4 armed with spears (for throwing) and knives (for butchering) to scout the area for any animals that could be hunted. Have any available townie take the spare axe and chop up the logs while 3 take the remaining spears and watch for any threats.
You still didn’t explain why they should settle here, which somewhat angers your tribe, but they call it a day and think that you will lead them away from this place when the food gets sparse. 4 young men go hunting, taking 4 spears and 4 knives with them. (d10 = 6) Nothing happens, so they have a normal hunt. (4d100*0,05 = 10,05) They manage to gather 10,05 units food.
3 people grab axes and start to gather logs from the forest… (d10= 7) Nothing particularly good or bad happens, except maybe the sighting of a reindeer. (3d100*0,05 = 8,15) They chop up 8,15 logs, which is quite good for stone axes. One man starts to process these logs to firewood, which is vital for warmth… (1d100*0,05 = 3,7) He produces 3,7 logs worth of firewood.
This season, three guards will watch out for any threats.
Get some men with knives together and tell them to go collect a bunch of sticks, then cut holes in some of them and stick the ones with holes into the ground beside trees and place the ones without holes into them. Making a fence. Then at some points along the long line of the fence, dig some pits using their hands 1-2 yards deep if they can.
TL:DR
Make a Trap Fence.
You don’t know why you get such weird ideas about constructs you don’t know. Perhaps something is wrong with you…
But you certainly send out men with the remaining knives to gather sticks. Sticks are always useful.
(d10 = 5) Nothing happens, they just farm sticks… (3d100*0,05=13,4) They gather 13,4 logs worth of sticks.
Then, they lay the sticks around the perimeter of your tent village, for a stick alarm. Every intruder, who steps on a stick, should alarm the guards. It consumes 6,8 l.w.o sticks.
See if any water is near.
Suggest we bury the hard parts of fruit in the earth and pile logs and stones in patterns on top of the three hills. We are settling for protection against tribes more violent and less enlightened than us.
You suggest it to the tribe, but they look at you silly. Why should they bring heavy logs and stone on the top of a hill? Why should they bury fruits? This is making no sense.
Oh. Water. Very important. There is a river direct beside your camp.
The rest of the people start gathering edible plants, mushrooms and other stuff, which requires no tools. (d10 = 7 ) Nothing happens, they just gather. (16d100*0,02= 14,68) They forage 14,68 units food.
…
Of course, in these 3 months something happened …
People are concerned about you. Now, they still don’t do anything to stop you, but they worry that you might have gone insane. Talking about weird things and making strange decisions… Maybe you’re a mad man?
No inventions this season…
These lands are wild and quite dangerous… Every month you might get a danger to fight…
(d6 = 5 ; d6= 2 ; d= 1 ) (One failure, bad event)
One day, in the night, a strange mist surrounded the village… Your guards tried to peer through the strange waves of nebula, but they don’t spot a thing… Then, they hear child screams and weird noises! They ran to the source of the noise, only finding bones and blood… And then a guard suddenly appeared, pale like a ghost. “A… A slenderman! I saw it!”
This is the territory of a slenderman. Your people are stricken in fear. Morale is set to 0,5.
People, mostly the elderly ones, that they should resume their nomadic ways.
One member of your tribe wants to hunt this foul creature!
