I've assigned my squads armor and made it How do i know if they are wearing it?

I like to find my units, using the units list.  Less searching, that way.  Take care, Knutor

(V)iew - (I)nventory - use the "+" and "-" keys to scroll through the list to find the item you are looking for. This is especially nessesary to find out if your crossbowdwarfs have bolts in their quivers when you tell them to kill that gaint dingo or goblin ambush. (On that screen press enter on a container like a quiver to find out what is in it.)

It won't show if they are wearing it at the present time, but hit m, e, and look for the green checks.  That will tell you if it is at least assigned.

(m)-(e) is great for seeing "do I have enough of armor type XYZ to meet needs".  If you've just created the squad, you may need to wait a few game days/weeks for that screen to update.  Or issue a squad move order right after setting up the squad.

(m)-(e)-(P) is useful for seeing exactly what they are planning on wearing.
