Okay, the problem was just I couldn't scroll on a touchpad.  This game is rad as hell.

With more and more varied planets to conquer (Maybe multiple systems?), more complex human resistance and space combat, maybe some more graphical effects to show the damage to the planet (It turns out siphoning off an entire planet's oceans and atmosphere has some pretty serious geological ramifications), and this game could be the coolest thing ever.

Tyranid simulator, why hasn't anyone thought of that before now?

I agree, this is a really good concept. think how nice it could be if each planet had a unique indigenous life form you could steal its d.n.a and assimilate it into the swarm as an upgrade.

Add arrow key scrolling.  As with some other users, I don't have a mousewheel.

Some planets cannot be fully harvested.  I landed ships on one sector that had a huge lake, but the only tiles were mountain and lake, so I couldn't build a tower anywhere!

Ok, I will add arrow keys. What keys do you want to use if you have no a touchpad? These small changes I can do today. + and - keys change game speed - 2x or 1x.

The game has giant worms and human nuclear bases with rockets. But I have not write full AI for they. After that I will make huge human spaceships. Swarm will can drop drones into they. This will be look like a space hulk (table top game).

There will be planet with different climate, full solar system (with one or more suns), winter/summer and day/night changing. Genetic constructor for swarm. No buying gens for primitive scores. You can get gens for eating spec creatures (to take wings, str, life and etc) or doing something (like spend several time on cold or very hot planet for take resists for it). You cannot use all gens in one creature for balance.

I did it :)

New version. Arrows or WASD for screen move, E for zoom in, Q for zoom out.

Need some ability to group ships above a planet tile.  Maybe add a small circle you can click above the surface, and it causes ships to gather there more often, and if they leave that tile they're more likely to turn around and go back towards it.  Not 100% grouping, some should still trail away, but it should get very thick where you select.  This would let you deploy squares down hard against turrets.  On very large planets, your ships get so spread out in orbit that they all get shot down as they land!

Another suggestion:  Some more rules for planet generation.  Certain gens make it impossible to fully consume a planet which is lame as hell.  Two mountains surrounding an ocean makes the ocean unconsumable and since oceans produce clouds which produce trees, the planet will never fully die.

Also, some turret setups are impossible or nearly impossible without a huge swarm, namely the turret surrounded by two lakes.

My friend tell me about this too. Ok, I will think.

I know this problem: you can dig mountains in future. Wait please :)

Nobody say that a planet occupation will be easy walk :) You are right - the main tactic of swarm is a huge swarm. Try to gather swarm on other planets. Or drop your swarm to the tile with a turret when ground units near it.
