I will explore this world.
I will assist my robotic colleague in exploring the new world.

CRITICAL FAILExploratron 9000 and Sir Helios step out of the ship together, intent on scouting the area. Unfortunately for Helios, Exploratron decides the best way to do so is at high speed, and leaves him figuratively (and literally, it doesn't look like this place has been used in ages) in the dust. In his efforts to catch up, Helios becomes horribly
LOST.
Exploratron, on the other hand, manages to survey a very large portion of the area. Objects of note:
-One of the walls is buckled and cracked, pushing inwards and almost blocking off a hallway.
-A large, open atrium with trampled grass under enormous three-toed footprints. A blunt metal cone has burst through one of the walls, about 4m wide at the base.
-Many, many dried bloodstains and dessicated corpses littering the hallways.
-A sealed room in what appears to be a kitchen.Exploratron returns to the Ark and relays this information.

CRITICAL FAILTazil decides to collect some metal. But not just any old metal, oh no. Who knows what's behind these walls. He needs the perfect metal.
The perfect metal, it seems, is rather difficult to find. Tazil is
LOST.

Alright then, let's go find some things. Tlaxloq won't be able to get any use out of the bloodstains and trails of corpses, they're years old, so he follows Exploratron's directions to the atrium and tracks the footprints from there. It seems something else had a similar idea, however; not long after beginning the hunt, he crosses paths with a particularly brightly coloured
Deinonychus antirrhopus, which he captures after a brief struggle and takes back to the ship.

And I'm a dude!
I shall make a Fungus Stew using the Disturbing Fungal Growth!

43You are beginning to regret your decision to make food out of... whatever this is. Just looking at it makes you feel unclean, and that's only one sense. It feels horrible to touch, sort of squishy and damp and rubbery. It smells absolutely vile, defying description. You accidentally drop it on your workbench and while it appears undamaged the sound of it makes your ears feel like they're turning inside out. You refuse to taste it until you're sure it's something approaching edibility. Clearly you'll need to rethink your approach.
+43 Chef EXPSir Madame the Gender-less. My skill is fleshsmithing, the ability to craft things out of living or once-living animals (including people).
E: I wander around the ship collecting all nine of the skeletons and asking Alexander if I can borrow his soup, then craft them into a stiff suit of armor, using the fungus soup as a paste to adhere the bits together. When necessary, I rub the bones against the hard metal bits of the ship in order to shape them how I'd like.
(Soup creation failed, so the armour will be created without it if at all.)
9
CRITICAL FAILYou gather the skeletons from around the ship and quickly return to your workbench, and set to work constructing them into a suit of armour. Unfortunately you've neglected to realize how much you have to work with, and have fallen far short of the amount of bone you would need to complete your goal, and in an effort to spread your materials beyond their natural spread you wind up compromising them and ruining them beyond all use. The ship fines you for the necessary cleanup.

The portal opens into a dimly lit metallic hallway lit by flickering panels on the ceiling. You can hear what sounds like a roar every so often, and occasionally the area shudders and rattles slightly.

1.2: Lots of critical failures in this round. Not the best start, two players lost on the first go and both craftings failed. Ah well. As you may have noticed, exploration permanently adds notable features to the world description, and exploration actions are performed at the same time and before all others. Gatherers can then choose to gather in any specific location that has been found via exploration at no additional penalty.
