Recently on my newest Dwarven adventurer, I came across a slight Issue. I killed all the night creatures (Vampires, Night Trolls, Werewolves, Necromancers), all the wild beasts (Lions, and Tigers, and Bears, oh my!), all the Semi-Megabeasts (Giants, Ettins, Cyclopi, Minotaurs), all the Megabeasts (Dragons, Hydras, Rocs and Bronze Colossi (Thank you ☼Adamantine Battleaxe☼)), the two Demon-Deitys that ruled two of the three nations in the area, and all the various Brigands and Outcasts plaguing this island continent I started on. I want to reach the other continent so I can kill every troublemaker over there, and then enter my first fortress, kill the three Forgotten beasts that destroyed my fortress, and then enter hell via the Dark Fortress, Kill all the Demons, (I know I can do it) and toss myself into a Glowing Pit, because my dwarf happens to be a Half-Insane Hero, chosen by Armok himself to kill everything that annoys him, and once everything is gone, enter into Armok's bloody halls and drink whatever divine drink that Armok serves to his chosen race, the Dwarves. To do this, however, I need to learn how to fill my waterskin.

Waterskins aren't the only thing that can hold water. Try quivers or your backpack as well. Personally, I like using jugs.

Also, you can keep drinking indefinitely from the same container with a little trick:
1. Last gulp of water? 'R'emove it on a patch of ground with no other liquids. This will empty everything else in the container as well.
2. 'I'nteract with your waterskin again. Fill it up with the water here.
3. Suddenly, full waterskin! Walah.
