5.   Sand Witches: These creatures are the dwellers of these sands for many years before any race came to existence. They control the deserts with their dreadful magic, though nowadays they are more lustful for males for unknown reasons. Failing in satisfying their desires will result in curses cast upon you which can have positive effects or negative effects depending on how you look at it.
In order to protect himself from the sand witches, Dharma spent his remaining silver on a frilly dress and some make-up. He was surprised to find how much he liked having them on. He also managed to snag a deal with the tailor to make dresses for Dharma's other companions to wear, and he spent the rest of the day daydreaming about what lipstick would look best on his orc friend.

I am not entirely sure as to what to think about this.... just make sure if your healing spells are touch based you keep them appropriate.  I'd rather not become skilled in cross-racial biology.

Just a heads up - I completely changed my turn. This may or may not be incredibly obnoxious, depending on whether anything about my turn has been written yet.

Ah dharma, you're breaking my balls. And i was nearly done..... But ok. Your action.

EDIT: Nvm, this was hardly a nuisance.

Who else thinks the scholar/priest who gave me the books might be evil? Should we even do that side quest? If so, I'm thinking I should spend my turn brewing some paralysis potions for Gunmirius's bolts and Khan's tusked boxing gloves. That should let us capture a sand witch alive and force her to translate the spell book. Because angering someone powerful and ancient is always a good idea.

In retrospect buying holy water, or at least garlic and some silver, might have been a good idea. Hopefully it won't be too late to get that kind of stuff. I don't think this specific vampire is going to hurt anyone in Team Spooky anytime soon, though. It's more likely that he has a common enemy with the Monster Hunters, and that he's under a temporary truce.

No actions? Nothing at all? Please don't tell me the players haven't abandoned this! The exception are Ceallath, Ironyowl and Greenstarfanatic ( Even though he ain't conversing with the vampire) which are ATM in talk mode.

I honestly have no idea what to do for my final turn before entering the desert.... guess searching for liquor and drinks is always a good past-time :p

I'm waiting to see what people have to say about the side quest to unlock an artifact of ancient power for an unusually kind stranger. It seems like a really good and safe idea, right? If people are having trouble coming up with turns, here are some suggestions:

*Gunmirius: Buy some better bolts. I'll give you my remaining cash if you want. You also have relatively good intelligence and a magic-gifted species. You could probably learn some simple spells easily enough. Maybe something that makes your bolts better, like an elemental enchantment you can activate right before launching them. Could also make them homing bolts, super-fast bolts, forceful bolts, ect. You also have the highest charisma of everyone in Team Desert by far. If you buy more bolts, you can try bartering for them and increase your bartering skill. Being able to buy stuff for cheap is nice.

*Khan: You might want to strengthen your gloves since...
Quote
Tusked-boar punching gloves! (Stabbing attack, unstable construction)
You can also practice fighting with them, or come up with a special attack that uses them. You could also try learning a simple spell.

*People at the vampire: Learn what the hell you're supposed to do. Do not anger the likely 1000+ year old vampire lord. Try not to poop your pants.

Thanks for the suggestion, but we're already doing our stuff, no pants-pooping.
