[1] Ger knees himself in the jaw, dazing himself until the end of next turn. Gartuk [4 v 3-1] kicks Ger in the crotch, stunning him for a turn, and [2] tackles the ground next to Ger. The merchant [3] throws a black bronze javelin at Gartuk, grazing his cheek .

Ger is already on the ground, so you're halfway there. [5] You begin pummeling Ger with all limbs, doing to him what be did to you. The difference is that [6] a steel pike flies from the merchant and stabs you in the left arm and Ger in the stomach. Pikes seem to be good at that sort of thing.

Gartuk [3] tears out the pike painfully and [4v3] throws it at the merchant, who gets hit in the [1] head and falls over, dead.

Ger--Severed left arm, stabbed right hand, bitten throat, kneed jaw, bruises all over, impaled stomach, abdomen hurt from yanking out pike

Gartuk--Bleeding neck, broken face, bruises all over, banged-up head, stabbed right arm, bleeding cheek, impaled left arm, left arm hurt from yanking out pike

...Yeah, I might start making the same sort of "roll to not bleed out" I was doing for the dwarves next turn.
