Bio: Gartuk loves money.  Known for his aggressive business style, he'll outsell and buyout anyone who stands in his way.

Profession: Taxedermist

Bio: Ger likes to run out into the fields and strangle vultures to death, afterwards he stuffs them and sells them at market (This is how I level up my peasants in adventure mode... that and sharpening and throwing stones for about two days, and about a day or two of sneaking back and forth.... then I go and get killed doing something stupid... dont attack elephants even if you are a legendary wrestler)

Bio: Urist likes running. But he is so short, so his agility isn't... that exceptional, so he likes to duel some elephants and dodge around.

Bio: This little furry creature once stole a copper axe from a rather new dwarven oputpost.
And have been using it in combat ever since then.
Also, he need only one more kill to gain a randomly generated name for himself.

Occupation: Madman
Bio: Jeekins is his name, and he believes that there is blood of a god flowing in his veins. The other kobolds didn't take him very seriously, so Jeekins decided to prove his godhood by entering this petty tournament.

Occupation : Archery instructor.
Bio : A soldier in hes lords army he was demonstrating how to fire an arrow when the kings son ran into the field. The arrow hit him right between the eyes killing him instantly and he was banished forever.
Weapon : ( If im allowed to choose ) Strong recurve bow , 2 long thin knives.

Eight souls are found, in a fight among eight beings.

One soul feels it and decides it means he's a god. Jeekins the kobold with this delusion takes gatorhide armor and a plundered gold dwarven scepter with diamond spikes for a mace. His target, who he spies while in hiding, is an elf who has been banished for a mistake, losing even his name. He wears travelling clothes and carries a bow and a pair of long, thin knives.

Miles to the north and a thousand feet higher, a raccoon steals a fine bronze axe. Darwuf, the smith who made the axe, notes this and runs from his volcanic forge, shouting angrily at the beast and waving a stone smithing hammer.

Heading west over the mountains, there is another fortress with a tavern. Two dwarves, a hired hand named Barloff and a cheesemaker named Urist, are having a dispute over dealing with the neighboring human city-state, which has gone so far as to allow goblins to enter its gates and even trade. Barloff grabs a stone mug, Urist a chair, and they begin to fight.

In this very city-state--Goldenroads--another dispute was starting over equally trivial matters. A goblin trader named Gartuk and a native taxidermist named Ger were arguing over how much a fine lion pelt was worth. It's hard to say if Ger drew his small crossbow an instant before or barely after Gartuk snatched an axe from a nearby merchant, but either way a fight was starting.

Eight beings and more watched the fights.

What do all of you do?

Ger makes a quick note of whether he has a good chance of hitting Gartuks face with a crossbow shot or not. He shoots for the face if he thinks he has a good chance of hitting it, he shoots for the torso otherwise. "Ger's lion pelt's er of the finest qualerty. Erve had enerf of yer hergglin"

Put 1 hand on my bow and listen carefully to whats going on around me.

[6] Acting fast, the raccoon hides itself and prepares to attack. Darwuf looks around, confused. The raccoon leaps out, [1] and the dwarf jumps right into the attack! Poor Darwuf gets his [3] right arm badly hurt, the lower part nearly cut off! Thankfully, he's a lefty and [4] swings a good swing at the raccoon's head. [6] The raccoon dodges from the attack and plunges off a cliff! The cliffs [6] crumble as the raccoon hits their sharp bits. The fight is over already, but Darwuf has lost the axe and risks the judgement if his peers.
The eight and the others look on, amazed at how fast the battle ended. The mediator noted that it should have taken longer, and would have if it wasn't for luck, but one of the eight curses at him and storms out, feeling cheated. The eight were seven.

That went a bit too fast.
Ah well, not much I can do about that.


On the other side of the cliff, a smaller raccoon watches.
With tears running, it swears to avenge it's father even if it takes a lifetime.
Then it scurries back into the woods.

Yeah...an overshot dodge on a mountain just screams "The Smith strikes at the raccoon but it jumps away! The raccoon slams into an obstacle!", and when I rolled another overshot for the mountain's effect on you...

When the first tournament is over tough, one of it's sons will take it's place.

The dwarf will enter a state of meditation, so as to commune with Armok. By meditation, I mean drinking booze. By commune, I mean raucously partying. Whatever "Raucously" means. Damn you, Dean Koontz!

He'll get some kind of weapon when we move on to Round 2...I'll bear the suggestion in mind.
