Find a lamp of some sort. It'll help me find my way through the tunnels.

Keep stashing small portions of food.  Stop trying to remeber things (so as to rember on accident).  Count rocks mined.
[9] You keep working until you find yourself holding an empty bowl before a metal pipe. There is a lever. You pull it, and some sort of gruel starts flowing from the pipe. You don't really have anything to store it in, though.
Not that it shows any sign of running out. Stuff just keeps gushing down.
Sloppy workmanship.

MINE IS THE PICKAXE THAT SHALL DIG SO FAR THAT THE CHAIN RUNS OUT OF ITSELF AND BREAKS FREE
[4] That isn't how the chains work. Your sanity is slipping dangerously.
[10] Which is very worrying! Beasts Below, you've been here before- you remember this- wait, no. But there was something! You keep forgetting stuff!
LordSlowpoke has become CRAZY PARANOID. No more MIND CONTROL RAYS for him!

Find a lamp of some sort. It'll help me find my way through the tunnels.
[6] You grab one of the lights from it's socket in the wall. It is a small sphere, which gives off a constant dull red light. It is slightly warm to the touch.

Destrou chain with pickaxe
[5] You try hyping yourself up to break your chains. The nausea comes, of course. But it is... not stronger, but sharper. Like the source is closer. Like the source has taken an interest in the recent drop in productive behaviour in this area.
[2] You really don't think breaking the chains would be a good idea.

Tame some rats!
[1] You cannot remember seeing rats around here. What would they eat? The only food down here is... uh... whatever it is you eat.
And yourself, you suppose.
Maybe if you tore out a chunk of your own flesh it would attract vermin of some sort?
Sounds like a totally reasonable course of action.
[6] It turns out to be surprisingly hard to tear off a chunk of your flesh. For one thing, you are very skinny. You still manage to tear some skin off your arm, and bleed profusely over the ground.
[4] The chains keep dragging you. They slow down somewhat, though, and the floor is getting smoother as you go- you still can't get up, but you aren't uncomfortable. Except for the self-mutilation thing.

Okay, this is the last straw. These chains are starting to get RIDICULOUS. What do THEY know about Dwarven Rock'n'Roll? Stupid kobold-brained pieces of metal junk! BREAK THEM!

Dude. How do these rolls work? Please inform me...
