I hit post too early and since I believe that most of you don't really read my ramblings I kept it as short as possible, only to come back to this later.
So yeah, although I fear of alienating some of you, here goes:
1. Why you chose to only take 1 pick - and an iron one, too - is seriously beyond me. You took 3 axes instead, sending only one of your dwarves to chop down trees, yet. So yeah, why should I reward that by allowing you to make wooden pickaxes? Shovels maybe, but what are you gonna mine? Isn't a wooden pickaxe a plow? Could give it to Gamur for working the farm, maybe. And look at Donut, his terribly undersized pick and the amount of soil he dug up. I think I made enough steps towards you
2. You chose the super evil savage area for an embark, which is understandable, but it's not my fault you're paranoid now.
This is only the beginning. So brace yourselves. And I have been pretty nice, because when I embark on a terrifying site I get mauled by ogres in less than 10 minutes.
3. I also don't see
ANY SENSE AT ALL in giving you more migrants if you
KEEP OBSESSING over the dwarves you created. Some of you still haven't understood, although I keep repeating this over and over, that the dwarves
DON'T BELONG TO YOU! Period. This is a team excercise and most of the rounds we lack basic tasks for half the dwarves while others run around doing nothing but playing their character, not being productive at all.
No wonder you get nothing done. I don't mind roleplaying and it's supposed to be fun, yes, but don't forget that you're also supposed to get your shit together - because I don't see a reclaim happening.
4. And the last thing:
Gobo
Inod
Datan
Dariush
Gamur
Lobram
Donut
Please keep using these, thanks.
Just assign a task to a specific dwarf and he will do it.
Saves myself a lot of trouble and we might actually get something done.
