Probably upper limit (with maximum badassery) would be a Tungaska-level initial detonation, followed by Peshtigo-level fire.

Tungaska was roughly the strength of the 10-15 megatons of TNT. (Equivalent to United States Castle Bravo hydrogen bomb, which was 15 megatons with a blast size of 4.5 miles across.) (10 to 15 is most likely.  Some estimates go up to 30 megatons)

The initial blast will likely be lesser, but the resulting fire will largely depend upon how quickly the reaction of the nation is.

Nothing set in stone yet, but I'm thinking the radius of it shall expand out from Zanzetkuken's immediate location at the moment of casting to some point roughly around the thousand mile mark. A large enough area of effect to be fitting of the title 'Worldfire', I'd say.

Yeah, it probably works something like demon binding. Draw a pentagram around the ghost if possible and bind it. Hell, I think I recall DZA saying you could exchange souls for demons, so maybe go make a standard demon pentagram and try and suck the soul down in exchange for a demon.
