With a dull gaze, she briefly looks over the Chosen One, before responding to him in a rather distrustful, unwelcoming tone. "What are you, some kind of priest?"

"I'm an aspiring author looking to perform research on the negative impacts of ghostly hauntings on the middle class. Those rich bureaucrats have been holding out on us lower class citizens for too long. We have A RIGHT to the same anti ghost services that they possess and it is only through spreading the stories of the common man and women that we can truly hope to bring about the change that is so desperately needed in this fine country. Would you mind if I came in for coffee?"

There is a small pause, followed by yet another question from his ever-inquisitive captors.

"...If you wouldn't mind, could you please disclose the details of the mission the two of you are currently on?"

The moderators eyes dart back and forth momentarily and he gives a deep sigh before speaking.
"I don't think you'd believe me even if I told you... Have you ever wondered about... clowns? Who came up with the idea of clowns? They clearly aren't funny to anyone so what's the point? How did they get here and what real purpose do they serve?"
The moderator gives another sigh and continues on,
"Alright you're about to hear the story of your lives."

@Xantalos: It's the perfect place. Kangaroos are already monsters. Just picture what could happen if you infect them and make some modifications.


Sorry I get bored easily and wanted to entertain myself. I'm clearly going to have way too much fun when I get in on this.

I'm no elite mathematician, so please correct me if any of my calculations are wrong:

The distance between Black Maple and PNG (the place where, once reached, the team will refuel the heli/pick up supplies and allow the Moderator to phase them to his base) is roughly 6,500 miles. I originally intended to have the helicopter travelling at a speed of 250 MPH (an impressive speed for most any modern helicopter), which would leave the total estimated flight time at around 26 hours. Thinking this to be too long a wait, however, I bumped the heli's speed up to 300 MPH, pretty much making it the fastest helicopter on the planet. This brings the estimated flight time down to approximately 21 hours. As of right now, they are about 8 hours into this journey.

tl;dr: Other-Moderator and company likely won't arrive at the base til day's end.

Of course, I want The Moderator to be free as well; I'd much rather be writing about some thrilling escapade involving battle-mechs, time paradoxes, and lots of explosions, yet I can only write about where your chosen actions lead you. And, unsatisfactory as it may be, your actions (with the help of some bad luck and a certain Planeswalker...) have lead you battered and burned back into the hands of a secret Canadian organization with the power to kill you at any moment.

Well, seeing as you have assimilated the vast majority of their nervous systems, they are now completely dependent on you just to remain alive. While I suppose they could still technically think for themselves, if we assume TorZon could successfully mimic the signals given out by the brain to the rest of the body, it would give him pretty much total control over what that body does or does not do.
