should I start a Moderator game now?

If you're feeling antsy about actually getting it up and running, sure.

He immediately begins to beavergoat the man quite thoroughly! At the very beginning, the man is mystified by James' actions, but his face quickly becomes a mask of horror when the procedure starts!

"OH GODS WHY? WHYYY?"

After a twenty minute session, the man is left white as a sheet, hairless and completely and utterly dead. James congratulates himself on a job well done!

Eh what the hell, I'm going to go with a completely different character.

Name: The Entity (Jim)
Sex: None (Male)
Age: Unknown (21)
Description: True form is constantly changing but somewhat serpent/leech like
Disguised Form - Brown eyes and hair (medium/short length), white skin, about 6 ft tall and sporting some pretty sweet sideburns, a thin beard and mustache along with some dark shades (sunglasses).  Wears flannel pajama pants and a grey sweat shirt for maximum flexibility when fighting but in social situations may wear a rather dashing white tuxedo along with a Fedora, white dress shoes and a cane (the shades too of course).
Origin: Born in the darkest recesses of the void, the Entity has lived since time immemorial in a seemingly endless slumber that until recently had been undisturbed.  While the Entity is very old, it has little life experience due to spending all its time in a hibernation like state.  While the Entity was sleeping however, large groups of void beings came around it and began worshiping the Entity as their god due to the mutative energies they felt emanating from the creature.  In an attempt to wake their proclaimed god, the void beings tried to cast a ritual but things went wrong.  The Entity awoke and saw its followers but moments later was hurled out of the void and cast down to the planet Earth.  Upon impacting with the surface in a wooded region, the beast ate the first living thing it found to sate its hunger.  The Entity acting on instinct, rapidly mutated its body after consuming the man and took his form so as to blend in with this new environment.  Flashes of the man's life flew through the Entity's mind.  This man had been named Jim and he owned a small run down house nearby in the woods.
Traits: The Entity has just woken up after a long nap.  Despite being very old, the Entity has little life experience and relies somewhat on instinct to compensate.  It has not yet developed much of a personality but is quite curious of its new surroundings.  The entity is somewhat small but that will likely change now that it is awake and can eat.  It misses the comfort of the void and wishes to open a way back but does not know how.  Its instincts however tell it to take advantage of the many living beings of this planet and that this will help accomplish its goal.  It will likely use its powers to try to open a way to the void and in the meantime make this world as close to home as possible.
Powers:  The Entity has the ability to mutate living things including itself.  Eating things helps it grow and evolve.  It also has telekinetic powers (moving things with its mind) allowing it to easily shape the environment just as it shapes living beings with its other power.  Lastly it has some biological abilities that it can develop through its mutations like acid spitting, swimming well, breathing underwater, etc

So any changes that need to be made, just let me know.

It is now required that The Moderator attract Aliens to Earth.

It''ll motivate us to to make a space fleet.

You're going for unification right? If not, we have a problem.

Space Fleet?  Awesome, that fits in perfectly with my character bio.  Oh and Vgray, take in my fast food chef as an apprentice to the dark arts!

Might take awhile for the next batch of Chosen Ones to arrive on the planet...just hope one of them's you.

None of us have even met each other in the flesh yet except for Zan and the Moderator.

How shall I do this? Laser Rifle disco? Telling their leader that he is a smelly poo-poo head?

@gman8181
I was wondering whether we'd be getting an application from you after seeing your post in YaM. Glad to have you aboard. Jim's sheet checks out for the most part, though making a little more clear what exactly his traits are wouldn't hurt.

Edit: Actually just to make my character at least a little bit competitive I'd also like for him to be able to absorb energy from other beings to become more powerful or something like that.  Jim just doesn't know that he has this ability yet.

That'd be fine, but you're gonna need to elaborate a bit more on what you mean by "absorbing energy". Are we talking something akin to vampirism? Just how would he go about extracting the energy from other beings in the first place? Would there be any specific effects on Jim or his victims worth noting after absorbing their "energy"?

Glad to be here.  Uh, you want more personality traits?

Generally friendly to people but won't hesitate to be a jerk if he gains something from it.  Even though he can put on a nice outside persona, he doesn't really like most people.  When he does like a person though, he can be a pretty loyal friend but this doesn't happen too often and it can be hard to tell who Jim likes and who he just pretends to like.  He has an off sense of humor that most others probably wouldn't understand.  He is lazy in that he doesn't like to start something but once he gets going, he almost always finishes and tries his best while performing the task.  Despite his laziness, Jim is very ambitious, probably verging on power hungry.  He likes to have lots of things and is always trying to get more.

Okay now about the powers.  To be honest, I'm not really 100% sure where I was going with that myself.  Have you ever seen "The Mummy"?  You know how he kind of sucks the life out of them?  Not quite like a vampire because he doesn't actually bite them or even touch them with his mouth.  He just just sort of inhales their essence until they're gone.  I guess sort of like that but maybe without leaving behind the nasty looking corpses.
I'm flexible with the effects it would have on my character.  Healing him maybe and then also just making him more powerful?  Maybe if he consumes enough people he can gain a new additional power or something?  Long term I can try and become powerful enough to consume the whole planet or something. :P
