It's also important to note that most the others have a one day headstart on you two; the first day for the original five was pretty boring compared what they have going on now.

Who says that I would impede your progress?  I'd just be there.  Could give you some darksteel.  That stuff is, by nature, unchangeable and indestructable.  Which brings to wonder how anything darksteel was made.

I certainly wouldn't use this vest against inferior Earth weapons...

It would only be in one or two suits, since it can't be thinned, and I could unsummon it at any time.  If you put it in a critical point, I could make the entire armor fall apart if they tried to use it against us.

No dragon, but we do have multiple dwarves, a few hawks, and an underground base in Californian mountains (hopefully the Sierra Nevada.  It would be impossible for Torzon and them to get in besides the front gate!).

Maybe, but not a traditional hivemind; rather more like the bugs in Ender's Game: he may be in multiple sections, but he commands them all at once, and sort of multiplies his consciousness to control them, yet they all remain the same entity.
