Already read through it a while back, and don't mind it at all; it fleshes the character out a bit more, and I very much enjoy the fact that it creates a link between the two games. After all, one of my hopes is that as things progress, You are Me and Slaves to DZA will build upon each other and enrich the universe that they each take place in as a whole.

Maybe, assuming Kestrel doesn't give any long-term actions for The Moderator to work on while he's away. And in the event that they fail to escape from the facility, he'd probably just return to being indefinitely detained in one of the holding cells.

By the way, I see what you did there regarding your (DZA)'s transformation into a spectral being did; it nicely ties up the timeline where he got visited by his older self, and for the current tournament.
