Stockpiling Blood

I have some barrels of blood that I would like to make a stockpile for. I cannot find blood as an option in the custom stockpile settings. Where would it be found?

Food-other or misc if I remember correctly. Game isn't open right now so I can't check. also check Misc liquids.

edit: apparently I can't find it either.

Well, I know it goes into the food stockpile at least. I can't find a "blood" entry anywhere.

I believe it's under extracts like milk, honey, and poisons.

I'm pretty sure barreled-blood is counted as an extract.

But... why would you want to stockpile blood?
It's practically useless unless you've got some mod to change that.

I use Masterwork so...blood can be used to appease Armok in that mod  :D

Then putting it over some spear traps or such and VIOLA, poisoned trap

I was told also if you SOMEHOW get buckets of blood, and put it in a room, vampires will go there and drink the bucket instead on helpless dwarves (then you atom smash the bastard)
