Your depot is inaccessible to wagons.

You need a 3 tile wide path from the map border to your trading depot.

Most common offenders are trees and traps (wagons cannot move over traps).

Is your map very hilly?

There's your problem. Stairs block wagon movement.

I had a problem, may take a screen shot.
I added an extra escape path to my depot room, raised the bridge over a ditch in the path... and then my depot apparently became inaccessible.

Has anyone else had problems with multiple paths to their depots?

Having multiple paths to/from your depot is no problem, as long as at least one is open at all times. Having multiple depots will cause problems.

As for where the problem is, remember that the path moves out from the depot to the edge of the map. As such just turn on the accessibility screen, and then follow the green tiles out from your depot until they stop, which will show you where the problem is. Remember that trees and "boulders" (the kind you find attached to the floor aboveground, not the item) will prevent caravans from crossing over them.

What kind(s) of problems? Part of a trading caravan pathing to 1 depot, the other half to a 2nd?

In the latest version there is a bug which makes wagons unable to path over traps. The bug report is here.

This might not be your problem, but it's something to check if you're having issues with wagon access.

It's intended, IIRC. It certainly makes sense.

Thats a bug?
I thought it was intended, really... i mean else you could just make a 3x20 tunnel, set up 60 traps and never bother with defense again...
