[3] Okay, the robot can move around and stuff, but it doesn't have weapons or an internal power supply or anything. Maybe you should get someone who knows how to make robots better than you?

[3] The robot makes a few more robots, not android ones like itself, but weird little crosses between tanks and cephalopods about the size of cats or dogs. They have internal battery lives but not long ones.
How could you program a robot to do something you can't? Your castle doesn't even have internet!

[1, 6, 5] You waste the rest of your computer components on malfunctioning robots, find a bunch of technical manuals about robots, steal them, read part of them, and find a box of black kittens. Next?

Strip all robots of parts. And find some too.

Wait, disassemble the functioning robots or the horrible ones? Also, where will you find new robot parts?
Maybe you should hire some minions.

Program robot to disassemble failed robots, and hire some minions yourself.

[4, 4] You take apart the failed robots, then head to town. Walking, of course, because you need to get your car fixed.
You find a mechanic in a run-down area of town who seems to have degrees in robotics and such. "I hate the economy these days," he mutters when you inquire. "Name's Jim, Jim M. Eroll. What can I do for you?
As you explain your needs, Jim takes out a bottle of whiskey and drinks it. Once you finish, he says, "Gimme room, board, and three hundred greenbacks a month--cash--and you've got a deal."
Do you accept?

Check the OP for neat little details like that. You have $10,000 and a current net cash flow of $800 per month.

Alright.

You hire the mechanic. He loads his tools into his pickup and offers to drive you back home. You agree.

A minute or two out, you get stopped by the police. They take one look at you, then say, "Ma'am, will you please exit the vehicle? You are wanted--"
Do you want to hear what you're wanted for or what?

[4] I'm not sure how, but you convinced the police officer that you aren't the same person who burglarized and destroyed the shop and then ran over some cops.

You arrive. Jim looks at your car and asks if you want to have it turned into a robot. You glance at the setting sun and say, "Let me think about it, it's getting late. I'd appreciate it if you'd fix it--before I feed you to my pit of hungry wildcats!"you add belatedly. You can, technically, do that; stick the kittens into the pit and toss Jim down. The kittens might not be wild, per se, but they sure aren't housebroken. You really need to work on threats.
You go to sleep after making sure Jim got to work on the car.

END OF DAY ONE OF VILLAINY

You wake up. What have you decided about the car-bot?
