You organize those who will listen to begin a patrol. The warriors make great guardsmen. Armed with clubs, stone weapons, and basic archery, they are the best equipped to do this task. Separating to cover more ground from the other groups, you go to the edge of the woods. The men tell you that they will not enter the woods as there is rumored to be a creature that will eat them in there. You could force them to go into the woods to finish patrol (Result unknown) or you could leave the patrol unfinished in the woods. (Safety down, Wise -5%)

Noticing the lack in housing, you understand that these tents, and makeshift structures are not good enough to be called homes. You begin construction of homes. You even get a longhouse done today. Enough to fit a couple of families. However, it is called to attention that you wont be able to finish the other homes until later. The question remains, who will occupy this first house so that later, basic housing may be finished. The Craftsmen seem to believe they are entitled to their own structure. (Craftsmen +10%) and while that is understandable, the other factions seem to wish for their own housing (Faction choice +10%, Craftsmen -5%) and the final choice was to save the structure for yourself or other leaders (Criminals +20%, Other Factions -20%)

You order your men to patrol around, you had been split off from the wooded area to check the bridge over the river. You notice smoke in the distance in the open fields. A fire? While smoke signals were commonly used, they were not being used in this case, and it was still day. Music and signing should be heard, but no sound was being made. It was eerily quiet. You look on, the next village over the river may be in trouble. Should you go check? (Random event), or will you stay, and secure your own village, unknowing to what was happening. (Secure Self)

While you show them how to till soil, the process is long as you do it with your bare hands. In addition there are no seeds. You at least have whoever will listen to begin tilling small fields near their homes. (Effect: Food Shortage, Wise -5%) This had also in addition with no real food available has caused a shortage. Now there is a problem. This teaching has cost time when it was unavailable, at least at first. Perhaps you should remedy this situation. A food shortage could be bad for the near future

Using half your men to go into the guard, this leaves you few to do what you want. In addition with scouting, the warriors to not trust them, and they are forced into the most dangerous part of the terrain. The mountains have narrow winding paths and only require a few people, but its danger is well known. With your men guarding the town, you notice that the ones that stay to guard are constantly watched by the warriors that are loyal only to the town, and stay to guard. They outnumber your men greatly and distrust rises between them and your men. Some attempt to learn some traps and crafts, however these are not the most intelligent of men. The only traps they learn of are pits, and these are already well-known. While on guard one of the warriors and your men get into a fight. Will you blame the warriors? (-15% Warriors, +15% Criminals) or will you punish your man? (-5% Criminals, +5% Warriors)

While patrolling, your huntresses follow. Completely archery based, they would be best to defend. Though with your patrol, hunting has been hurt. This causes a Food Shortage, and news from the Gatherers tells you that a previous food shortage was made worse. (+5% Warriors, -5% Wise) More aware of the woods than your warrior counterparts, you look on as some of the men look embarrassed as your women hunters go into the forests, unafraid. However the forest is large, and you can not do the whole thing yourself. You hope a bit that the men will scout the rest.
