Single piece bodies aren't the only way to invulnerability. Fluffballs are invulnerable through feathers. My lord english and scp-682 are invulnerable through having neither insta-kill parts (lower bodies and heads) nor blood.

I decide to test whether or not this thing is invulnerable. I set up what can only be described as complete ownage, then put a hellstone titan in the middle. and then:

It melts.

I am disappoint. Must've got the raws wrong.

Anyway, it was disappointing. For the short period it did not melt, They lopped off limbs like nobody's buisness.

I think you may not have out the hellstone raws in correctly. Otherwise, make sure you have heat resistance in there.

The hellstone code goes into your inorganic_stone_mineral folder.  The titan code goes easiest into your creature_standard folder.  Make sure you copy the entirety of both codes.  You miss a line, it won't work right.

And for the burning blood?  No, blood is weakness.  Bleeding to death can kill, and blood makes it a living thing, not a construct.  Giving it blood reduces it's defense (making it a shell over the less dense blood).  A thinner shell could be broken open with sufficient force (bronze colossi can punch fingers and toes off, so while ultra dense and sturdy, Hellstone is not unbreakable).  A bronze colossus could crack it open with sufficient effort.  Oh, and last I checked, the max temp for anything is 60000 degrees Urist, according to the wiki.  I may be wrong.

Oh, and if you can make truly heatproof armor, then make Hellstone hammers and equip your warriors with them.  You can have an army of dwarves that melt enemies while they fight.  You know you want to.

And a thought occurs: if you made soap out of those poison demon squirrels, wouldn't it dissolve your flesh when used?  I THINK WE HAVE OUR NEXT EXPORT TO THE ELVEN KINGDOMS, GENTLEMEN!!!

While the blood DOES make it non-invincible, things don't need to be invincible to be horrid horrid unfathomably awful monsters. They just need to be TERRIFYING.

I mean hell ELEPHANTS were once the "ultimate monster" on DF. They certainly weren't invincible.
Carp were this as well. And now its flying, FIREBREATHING Carp....Toady didn't make DRAGONS fliers cuz firebreath+flight=ownage

Hey, guys. This is probably a stupid question, but how do I make it so I can play it in Adventure Mode?  :-\

you have to create an entity file for it (make it a civ) and give that entity file the INDIV_CONTROLLABLE tag

Wouldn't a more elegant solution be making a creature out of metal and giving it lasers (which can probably be made with longer ranged, faster, more condensed fire breath, I suppose)? Bolts can't hurt it if the metal is strong enough, the 'laser' should incinerate anything on a long range, and if it ever gets swarmed, give it some sort of instant heat thing. There you have it, a human-sized invincible creature. But, indeed, where's the fun in that when you can have FREAKING GIGANTIC HELLSTONE COLLOSI :D

And how much would that thing even weigh with that size and density?

By that logic, you shouldn't be able to play dwarves because they don't show thinking ability.
