The riot guard looks at Aaron with a curious expression. "A riot shelter? We could use that to save several people in the effect area from getting smashed."

"Well, I could grab some people, and we could board up the doors. After that, we're smooth sailing. There's even wifi in there, so we could stay there as long as needed, am I right?"

He chuckles a bit and nudges the police officer.

Quote from: TCM
Which abandoned house are you referring to?
((The one for the mailbox bombing.))

So the house that got bombed? If so, it may or may not be abandoned. That's not saying it's not abandoned, but it could also be under repairs, or now occupied by new uninvited guests.
((Not that one explicitly. Some in the same area were abandoned as well, I think.))

Hey fellas!  I had to get Berk and (insert footsoldier's name here) to a clinic after a fight with some Vice Lords.  I'm on my way back to the pub now to help hold down the fort.

Explain to Clinic people that I have to go make sure my mates back home are safe and that I have to leave right now cause of the riot.
If possible, then covertly signal to Berk to keep an eye on the footsoldier and to leave as soon as possible.  Should the cops somehow arrive at the clinic to question them during the riot then stick to the story about a mugging gone wrong as best as possible.

Chapter 77: They're Rioting in Licheville

Ah, yes, a good old fashion riot. Time for some looting, eh?

Grab the robbery squad, start robbing gas stations and retail stores.

Thomas Marshall, like any good politician, decides to capitalize on the general pandemonium brought about by the soccer riot. He grabs two thugs and heads out onto the streets, donning their ski masks. They skedaddle past hordes of angry rioters, blending in with the crowd. As they make their way down the block, Thomas and company notice a group of rioters breaking through the locked doors of an electronics store. The three of the them run in and begin nabbing the merchandise, just as the other looters do so. There's some struggling over a few precious items, but the robbery squad manages to get a pretty good haul. (+2 Laptops, +4 Smartphones, +2 PSPs, +1 3DS, +1 GPS, +1 E-Book Reader)

Before they can nab anything else, Thomas and his goons are alerted by the sound of something popping near the front of the store. Looking back, Thomas watches a cloud of gas fill the entrance area, and the accompanying sound of the looters in the affected location falling over, coughing and wheezing. It's clear that the police are now targeting this area, but there's obviously no way out the front besides going through a cloud of tear gas and into the hands of the fuzz. There is a back door, but it looks pretty securely locked.

"Sorry only just heard myself, a riot kicked off at the match. The others are coming in now we should be ok but better safe then sorry."

Send the men who just arrived to move the vending machines to cover the windows. Send messages to Sarah and Jarrod to come in tomorrow at midday and 12:15. Continue monitoring for job applicants.

Add a job to the site. Looking for people with hand to hand, or firearms experience along with bodyguard experience.

Joe Micheal tells the newcomers to barricade the windows with the vending machines while messaging Sarah and Jarrod to come on down to the Pub later. Afterwards, he adds a special request for another job he's looking for, namely someone with fighting and bodyguard experience. He then looks to see if anymore applications had arrived, and indeed a few more had.

"Ok first of all see if you can get hold of whoever owns the land the car graveyards on, say we want to practice for paintball or something, and Sean I like your Moxt, but lets save that for "Graduation", anyway I'd prefer if we didn't have to break the law every other minute, you know until we're a criminal empire spanning the globe of course."
Set the first guy out to contact the land owner, Then read the text, freak out and try to get the coke machines in front of the windows and doors, get Sean to help if he can.

Paul heads out to go get a hold of the car dump that the Syndicate could use as a training ground. Back at the Pub, Mason realizes that they're under attack by rioters, and thus gets Paul and Himself to aid the barricading efforts.

[Mason: 3+1]
[Sean: 1+1]
[Footsoldiers: 3]

It requires the effort of everyone just to secure one window with a vending machine. This leaves another window, as well as the front door, exposed, and it's seemingly too late.

Richard momentarily fires off a text to the other kings.
We are all safe, correct?
To Joe, he also sends this:
Be VERY CAREFUL with that site. Make sure it's on something that the police can't find. If they find out we're recruiting thugs, or if somebody rats, things will go downhill VERY fast.
If we're still near the pub, get a few thugs and bring the prisoner outside and lead him through the streets. Try and find an abandoned house or something similar. The one we used before would suffice. Make sure he knows that if he makes a break for it, he dies via knife.

William grabs three footsoldiers and goes down to see everyone's best friend, the Cobardi captive. William whips out his butterfly knife. (Threat: 4+1(Threatening with/Knife Bonus)) "Look, we're going to go for a stroll. And if you try anything funny, you're not coming back from it in one piece, got it?" He nods accordingly. William's party is able to drag him into the street and down an alley, as to avoid the commotion. The Cobardi soldier makes no noise as planned, and doesn't miss a step.

The prisoner is led into an abandoned apartment lobby. At this point, he starts talking, "Wait, what is this place?"

"Well, I could grab some people, and we could board up the doors. After that, we're smooth sailing. There's even wifi in there, so we could stay there as long as needed, am I right?"

He chuckles a bit and nudges the police officer.

The police officer seems unamused, but nods anyways. "Alright, get through there and save those people. If they tear you apart, don't blame us, you're the one breaking through!" He steps out of the way, giving Aaron full access down the street.

Trent quickly tells the Clinic to take care of his buddies, as he has to go secure his house from rioters. He signals Berk some instructions and leads for the Pub.

Trent rushes down the street, pasts clashing gangs of rioters and policemen. He gets to the Pub, whereupon he finds a few rioters already running up the steps. (3 vs. 6) Trent attempts pushing them down so he can get past, but in fact he's the one that gets pushed down the stairs, landing on his  back at the bottom of the steps as rioters run past him.

Spoiler: Prison Schedule (click to show/hide)

Blake decides to spend his first meal in prison snooping around and trying to find out more about these groups. (Intelligence Gathering: 4) He learns a bit about each of these new groups by asking around. The foreigners are mainly overseas labor that came over and got in trouble, or lost their papers. The big, muscular Meathead guys are the ones calling the shots in the yards, though they might not be as tough as they seem. The laughing group are the 'Clowns', opposite of the Meatheads, as they have a great influence, it's just that they perform sneakier, covert methods to exert power rather than direct confrontation. The Vice Lords and Cobardi are simply anyone from those gangs who end up here, so of course they stick together like they do outside of prison. The skinheads call themselves the "Crusaders of the North", who claim that it's they're duty to make sure the "darkies" and "slanties" are kept in line.

Breakfast ends as Blake ends up tallying the rest of this information. Afterwards, he's escorted to the workshop, where he spends two hours folding laundry. Not fun, but at least he actually gets paid. ($2, can be spent at the Canteen)

When the prison bell signals the end of the work-time assignments, Free Time begins. Cell Blocks A-D, Yard, Recreation Room, Library, Chapel, Phone Booths, and Canteen all available.

Along the way, Blake overhears one prisoner saying that his prison sentence got reduced by <15 Turns> just for good behavior. He also sees a sign that lists the prices of goods at the canteen.

Canteen:
*NOTICE: CERTAIN ITEMS MAY ONLY BE ALLOWED TO PRISONERS WITH SPECIAL PRIVILEGES. RESTRICTED PRISONERS MAY BE BARRED FROM BUYING SOME, MOST, OR ALL OF THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW.*

Apple: $1
Chewing Gum: $.50
Soda Can: $1.50
Shirt: $5
Shoe: $35
Laundry Bag: $8
Shaving Cream: $2.25
Soap Bar: $2
Lotion: $1.20
Deodorant: $3
Q-Tips 100 Pack: $2
Handheld Mirror: $2.30
Plastic Spoon: $.10
Condiments: $1
Batteries: $4.50
Small Typewriter: $5.50
Candy Bar: $1.50
T.V. Dinner: $3
Painkiller-2 Capsules: $1
Radio: $25
T.V.: $100

The rioters begin storming up the steps of the Pub. A bottle is chucked through at the unguarded window. (1) It bounces off and strikes a rioter. As they get to the front door, two footsoldiers lock it and put their weight behind it to force it close under the force.

Spoiler: Syndicate (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Kings (click to show/hide)

The prices, and actual items themselves, are based upon items and prices actually listed in real prison Canteens. Yes, you can get all of those items, and a lot more, in a prison Canteen. Even the Batteries, the Mirror, and the T.V.

Head to the Pub, and clear the entrance. Send a mass text to everyone on the contacts list that doesn't hate us or would have any motive to kill us:

We're securing the pub. Get down here and bring people you can trust, we're playing to good guys today.

Let's say about 8 in total, either running up the stairs or already trying to break down the door.

Investigate the commotion - be as "anonymous" as possible though.

Ryan heads out into the streets, looking as neutral as one can be in the middle of a riot. He discovers groups of rioters and looters trashing buildings all across the surrounding area, as well as breaking into them and stealing their supplies. The police have arrived in riot gear, shooting off tear gas and beating rioters with batons.
