(4) Alex keeps his cool and walks past a hotel employee going down. Yep, nothing suspicious. Soon the coast is clear, and he finds himself on the landing to the 17th floor.

(2) Alex walks down the stairs into the first floor of the hotel, where all the rooms and restaurants are. The Cobardi are probably to the west...or east....or north....or over there...

(4) As Alex peers through the rooms, he spots the Cobardi sitting in the corner booth of a fancy Italian restaurant/bar.

A sturdy wooden bar topped with marble that separates leather barstools from the bartender. Behind him is a big array of various alcohol. On the other side of the bar there are a few isles of booths, back to back, though most are empty. Four Cobardi fill up the booth in the innermost corner of the room.

No, though there are the bottles and such. Each row of booths is separated by a semi-transparent glass ceiling that stretches to the roof.

Alex takes a seat at a table diagonally across the room from the Cobardi. He grabs a free newspaper along the way and pretends to take interest in it, while flashing glances at the Cobardi across, who look like they're invested in some sort of important conversation.

A waiter walks up to Alex. "What can I get for your order, sir?"

[Taricus]

"Just a glass of water for now, thanks."

[TCM]

"Just a glass of water for now, thanks."

The water bows and goes behind the bar. The Cobardi continue chatting.
