Chapter 31.1: Stealthiness

As the rest of the gang has a meeting, Alex slips in the back door of the Madison. (3) He finds himself in a kitchen. As he lurks forward, he hears footsteps coming. Without time to get back to the exit, Alex slips inside the pantry and leaves the door open just a crack. A chef walks in, past the pantry, and begins ruffling through some pots and pans.
