All the picks im the ofrt are submerged in lava. We've got no metlas to forge a pick. Trying to melt some botls to get a bar ofd steel.


1st granite 252

Spring has arrived, it's 6 AM and I'm feeling too sober  to continue playing this, got a bit nauseous at some point and had to slow down.



Don't know where Kamin went, was probably killed by the damn queen of tantrums. I tried to melt stuff down but the dorfs were too busy doing other things.

The dorfs are constrained in a burrow to avoid getting burned. I built some walls next to the dining room to restrict the lava flow inside the fort. Enabled most of the jobs for everyone to get things going.

I still have absolutely no idea how we got the queen. I just checked out the seasonal save from the beginning of winter and she was then just a regular dorf set to brokering and bookkeeping. She was one of the migrants that arrived at autumn. I let the game run till spring and this time she didn't turn into a bitch queen. Although she also didn't murder anyone, maybe that's how she got the throne last night. Looks like she killed Kamin and beated up turkeys and puppies to bloody pulp. Not sure if she was already queen then.

To sum up my turn a bit more coherently, I've increased the population to about 20, made a bunch of picks and activated mining on the immigrants. Sadly despite building a massive number of coffins and slabbing a bunch of ghosts there's still major unhappiness. Also running low on drink in the fortress, so you may want to get the farming situation under control.
