Apple juice is my favorite mixer/chaser too.
I like to leave the vodka and the shot glass in the freezer, if you move fast with that setup you can take shots of vodka that has ice crystals floating around in it. Chase that with fridged, good, apple juice and voila! Tastes like yum.
The next morning.... less so.

Buttered popcorn vodka sounds..... epic. Probably epically bad, given buttered popcorn jellybeans.
