(its the 1 tile wide staircase leading to the abandoned magmaflooded area.)

Judging by the hairy earthworms and vapor lizards I would say that it's a reclaim.

The sky city looks.. interesting. Really corporates the drunken fortress spirit! 

I just checked out the save and tried finding scruffy. He was not among the living so I presumed that he has a nice and cozy coffin (or atleast a slab) somewhere, but no. What remains of him is a mutilated corpse is decomposing under Bobnova's rotting carcass and covered in spatters of scruffy's frozen dwarf blood.  Fun! (he had a bad thought about "sleeping in the mud" when I checked him via the relationships panel)

Edit: Aren't FBs immune to syndromes? I tried attacking the earthworm and it went numb and drowsy. Now it's sleeping in a corridor. Perhaps it was caused by the bruised brain 

Ok, the recruits just kept biting the very drowsy FB until it died. Disturbing.
And now the random potash makers and such killed the wounded lizard.
Ok, I was able to retake the old fort and seal the caverns while sober. I think that the next players might manage to do the same if they so desire

And just to be clear, I was just testing Ruhn's save, not starting a turn
