Post What your parent civ wants you to get them
« on: September 05, 2012, 02:23:20 pm »

So, I started a new fort, and the liason comes tell ing me he wants...

1. Maces (a lot, offering 210%)
2. Warhammers
3. Tanned Hides
4. Drinks (obviously)
5. Rock Crowns
6. Cloth
7. Blocks
8.Amulets (also a lot, at 206%)
9. Rings
10. Handwear
11. Footwear
12.Backpacks

Sounds like my parent civ is stocking up to break faces and go off to war :P

What does your parent civ ask for?

I forget, except that toys were marked up to like 208% or something crazy like that.
They're going to regret that, I've got a mooded dwarf made a stone ring awhile back. He's been making toys nonstop in a workshop just for him. It seems my parent civ is having some Dwarf Day Care issues, or something.

So, bearded man making great toys all day long for children? Santa Claus!

I could tell you what my parent civ wants all day, but that won't change the fact that I'll probably just ignore them when they show up. I wish I could have my expedition leader turn around and scream "WE DON'T WANT ANY!" at that damned liaison every once in a while.

Clearly, this represents six side-by-side wheelbarrows, as indicated by the right half of the icon.  The left half indicates they are carrying babies with hats in these wheelbarrows.

Presumably, they are lining up to dump them into the baby furnaces.

This year, the mountainhomes are absolutely itching to get thier hands on my windows, of which I've not built any in this fort whatsoever up to this point.  After that it's prepared meals (easy), quivers (meh) and various leather things.

I'll probably just do what I always do, trade them useless crap for other somewhat less useless crap that my dwarves will mis-manage anyway.
