Fool's Art Thread: Bi-Weekly Madness (LU:15/09/2012)
« on: September 05, 2012, 10:17:02 am »

So I may not be leaving my city after all, which is kind of lame, but a necessary evil. To get out of this boring city I need to get good enough to be hired as a concept artist. I don't want to rush myself, so this won't be a daily thing so much as a bi-weekly thing. I might make it daily if I wasn't working, but my rent tells me no. I'll also be doing anatomy studies on the side, which I'll also be posting with the bi-weekly picture.

Any suggestions for what to draw would be amazing, and criticism would be appreciated, no matter how small a detail. Be critical when critiquing, I won't get mad if you tell me that I got everything wrong if you're right.

I'll also be making the same post on my dA account to get more suggestions.

Now... any suggestions to start this out?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

If people don't already know I've been having a bit of an odd week. I've needed to tell my friends and family that I'm pansexual. I tried to finish this yesterday, but a friend that I haven't told asked if I wanted to come over after work.

Anyone have suggestions for the next image? I have two days off in a row coming up and I think I'll start drawing for a couple hours before I start playing Guild Wars 2 from now on. Hopefully that will put me back on schedule.

It isn't set in a cavern, or mushroom-lit, but it is an Olm Man wizard fighting a crocodile.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I'll continue working from suggestions soon. I'm just having a bad day. A very bad day.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I'm sure I'll get over it, but having an amazing day than having it all fall apart just destroys you.
