They are killable.Just work your kite magic or get a treant or something near you that kills them in 1-2 swings.They spawn by cutting trees down randomly.

By the way:They are hounds.

Arm yourself with a spear and take them down in 3 hits. No need for armour unless your game is laggy; kite them until they get close enough to start their 'chomp' action, avoid it, and run back to smack them over the head while they can't move/react. Either do this three times, or usually they become stunlocked after the first hit, so you can just swing a couple more times until they're dead.

Once you learn how to kite the mobs, this game becomes ridiculously easy, unfortunately. But the regular updates are encouraging.

I like the game. It's like Haven&Hearth, as it used to be in the beginning, with less grind and less griefers.

Which kinda makes me fear as to how they'll continue to generate revenue from the project after it reaches market saturation and they're still sinking development time into it. :/

I'm pretty sure that you get early access to the beta through steam when you buy it.
