Lunira and James return to the village, having spent the time away talking and learning as much about each other as possible.
James takes some materials from Coleman's farm and clothier, and goes to his office. Meanwhile, Lunira gathers everyone together.
She reports having found a small river oh her way back, her ears more sensitive than the average human allowing her to hear the flowing water. It's not too long of a trip, and everyone goes to it to fill water bottles, clean off, and see what the fuss is about.
Everyone cleaned off without incident, and came back happy but wet. Coleman mentioned something about irrigation, and engineers.
When everyone had returned, James left Lunira a pile of books and left to go to the river himself.
"Ahem... I know I'm not normally the one for public speaking, but James decided we should pool all our knowledge. That's why we made these, blank tomes for everyone to write in. You can write whatever you want, just know that what you write will influence our future. Thank you."
Lunira handed out the books, and writing pens made from feathers.
"All right. We'll need a place to put various books- James couldn't decide on a tavern or a library, so we may end up with both. I'll help chop some logs if anyone wants me to."
Thomas stepped up. "No, I'll get yer logs. I can write before I get some sleep."
Everyone else went back inside, as it was getting somewhat late. Grant caught Lunira outside, however.
"Hey. I heard about what happened."
"Oh, the goblins? It was nothing. I chose to put myself on the line for everyone and I did."
"No, not that. I mean, that was part of it, but I wanted to hear it from you. What was it like?"
"Exhilarating. I admit, i was a little afraid, but... Combat is what I do. I might not always like it, but it's what I'm good at and it gets adrenaline going."
"It's the same here. I'd have loved to have been there, but I've also been wanting to go hunting, so..."
"It's no problem."
"If you want, we can teach each other some stuff about combat. I don't know a lot, but I didn't think you were a sword user last time I saw you."
"I wasn't, I'm not really one yet."
"I'll be glad to help."
As everyone was getting ready for bed...
Coleman began writing a book, entitled "Become Someone".
In the book, he writes about his becoming a farmer from a clothier, and other plans for his life.
In the book, he draws out a few ideas for an irrigation system. The first one shows a great aptitude for engineering, a large aqueduct system that could provide the town with water- if they could make a waterwheel and some pumps. The second one he drew is a sort of gravitational system, where rainwater funnels through a sort of snaking pattern through the fields. In the third design, rainwater is captured in open barrels and allowed to leak extremely slowly from a hole in the base, watering the plants.
In the book, he lays out a table of different cloths and leathers and what they're best used for.
In the book, he writes about current events, and his feelings for Ashley.

GM Turn-
Elsewhere in the world, in a hidden away temple, 12 hooded figures stood around a symbol engraved upon the floor. The one at the top took a bottle of red fluid from his robes and poured it out onto the symbol. Together, the people began to chant in an unknown language.
The red fluid began to glow and the ground shook. The symbol fell away, revealing a hole into Hell itself. And out poured demons, lesser and unable to do anything of importance to the world. Others emerged after the floods of cattle-eaters and tricksters, ones that could disguise themselves as gods, or even other humans, and others still after them with powers that could not be understood by even the gods.
The people, who had been promised a great reward, lay in pools of blood. They had opened a gate into one of many Hells, this one a large, advanced one capable of bringing the still young world to it's knees.
