Dehydrating in adv. mode
« on: September 02, 2012, 09:16:14 am »

I recently made an adventurer because i have never tried make one seriously before, but every time i travel or sleep he gets hungry and thirsty.I got food covered, ill just hunt and butcher an animal or steal some of the local crops but when my starting pack of three water is gone, the only way i can get more is to drink it directly from a river. no storing it for later, no getting it from wells, just drinking from a river...  :(

Yeah, flasks are rare. You can just drink blood spatters or swim in a river and drink water coverings.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

You can get water from wells by standing next to one and pressing (u) - (Enter) , (u) - (Enter) for lowering and lifting the bucket. Then you can either press (e) for drinking directly from the bucket or (I) , then choose your waterskin for refilling the waterskin.

The wiki pages usually have answers to the common questions. Check out the quick start guide and the detailed reference guide.

I wonder if the game has become odd.

Meat sheilds and lair loot, I walked away from three bronze flasks before (obviosly cause they're heavy and I had a speed of 100 already) so it depends on the lair, camp, etc.

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

You start with a waterskin.

If you want a metal flask, try looting a keep. Or a dwarven fortress.
